Does this look like a woman's wallet?

I've been using that one now for the past few days, as my previous wallet had finally reached that unusable stage. My infamous younger brother thinks it's a woman's wallet, whereas I fail to see why he would jump to that conclusion. Now, I only have it because my mother found it randomly around the house (perhaps a wallet given to her by a relative to use, and she just forgot she had it), but that doesn't mean it's inherently a woman's wallet. It's a simple design that I've seen featured in a lot of "men's" wallets.

Why should you give a **** whether a wallet proves you have a penis or not?

 

I don't. After debating this issue for a few minutes at an AT&T store this past Thursday with my brother (he asked a customer walking by for his opinion), I'm curious to see if anyone shares his POV.

Do you carry coins in it?

 

Yes I do. It's my favorite thing about that wallet...........the little compartment to hold coins.

Get a new one ASAP. Or at least stop carrying coins in it, for Christ's sake. lol

 

**** that. It's highly annoying to stuff coins in my back pocket (the pants I wear to work don't have the little coin pocket within the normal pocket) at work, and when I'm elsewhere. Coins in a wallet= convenience. I like convenience whenever possible.

I've been using a "women's" wallet for years.
Didn't even know it until I was told by my last gf.
My masculinity hasn't felt threatened yet.

Hey, if they can wear our shirts, we can at least be allowed to use their wallets.

 

It's a woman's wallet, but the question is whether that matters or not.

 

Like I mentioned, it doesn't matter to me. If matters to others when they see it as I use it, then I'll give them **** for it (more so at work or with friends & family, as opposed to random folk ).

I found the zipper odd at first as well, but look at the difference between the two. That zipper will keep the interior of the new wallet a hell of lot more cleaner than what the old there looks like.

What a cute pocketbook. I'm sure it accessorizes great with dresses.

But if it works well for your needs, that shouldn't really matter.

 

Well, like my aunt once said, it's not like your thingy will fall off. If it does, seek medical attention immediately.

 

That is so a lady's wallet but I think you should use it if it makes you happy...

I just looked at mine and I think it's a....wallet. Just a wallet.

That's not a wallet, it's a zippered change purse. Or something. or it's that "alum wallet" for people who don't want to stick a metal case in their pocket.

Anyway yes, DKNY, definitely a wallet designed for women. It's not that different from some that are designed for men though. It's mainly the zip with the giant pull.
