I'll assume we all want to see each other again for Christmas so...

Lets just see what weekend works best for everyone and who wants to/can come. Invite open to other chapters too.

I'd kind of like to have it at my house again this year, but depending on volume of bodies, we can always see about the Mason Hall again.

 

I had lots of fun at the last one. Count me in, weather permitting.

depending on when it is, I would love to come. Wasn't it at the hall last year??

 

I would be up for this, My schedule is pretty set on I work one weekend on and one off, and I do evenings which are 3-11. Depending when it is held, I would most certainly be intrested, Would love to see everyone again!

Weekends of

Dec 9th-10th
Dec 16th
Dec 23rd-24th
Dec 30th-31st

January is iffy for me. My work has kept putting off a trip out to Manitoba and it may happen then. (God I hope not...-27C).
Also somewhere in the month of Dec I will have to remove a date for a family get together.

I kind of like the thought of Christmas eve or New Years eve (need to pass that by the boss).

Thoughts?

 

23-24th would not be that great of a date considering its actually christmas.

Id be up for coming down for your annual christmas party

 

I will be up for the 16th, 23rd, or 30th maybe

 

Update....

We have booked the Mason Hall for December 30th.

I found a sealed tin with the chips in it from last year.. can I bring that?

 

I think there may be other food to eat, but if you are hungry, you can dig right in. I prefer NOT to be sick over Christmas!

No....Not Dec 30....This is the one day I can't come.
This is the date of the SG-16 (Stargate group) Christmas party, hosted by Dan and Samantha.

Well that really sucks!! We didn't know that date was unavailable. I figured to have the party during Christmas break was better for everyone and especially those away at school. Is it better in the new year??

 

Due to lack of communication and lack of interest.....Christmas is Canceled (....well the YJN party is.)


I guess we will just have to wait till into the new year.

BUT WE STILL NEED INPUT AS TO WHEN!!!!

Jan 7, 14, 21 is out for us. We have a family gathering, b-day (deb), and a work party.

 

Hopefully reshduling the event will give us the opportunity to come. Saturdays would work best for us to give us enough time to make the drive home, but if the final plans are for a Sunday we can do our best to make it out too.

As far as I know we are free any weekend in January except for the 6th/7th weekend.

 

I could do Sunday, Dec 31 - this date would actually work best for me - or any of the Saturdays in January - 6, 13, 20. Sundays are a bit more difficult because of the long drive and the need to get up early for work on Monday mornings, but I would be willing to make the effort for a Sunday afternoon/early evening event, if Sundays work better for the rest of the group.

I honestly have no idea when is best for me, because I do not have my January schedual yet. But if a date is picked, I will try my best to make it out with Dan and the kids.

 

Well I'm good with early January dates. Hopfully a Saturday, because Sunday's may be comcom meets.
Mind if I bring my Darcy along (dahling dog). Fantastic with people. I tote her along alot now, and she hasn't been to st. kits in awhile.

OK before this gets to late....

For a Christmas Party Deb and I are just going to open up our house on Saturday the 13th (day befor debs B-day).

I hope this is still ok for people, but if we don't set something set up it will be June.

Place: My house (PM for directions)
Time: anytime after 3pm
Bring: Food and Drink

 

I can try to pop in... an actual day off for me!

 

would love to come, but I have to work all day. I don't think the kids would enjoy a long drive after 6 o'clock, when they are used to being in bed around 7:30. Hope you all have a great time though, and wish we could come.
