Everyone's having a more interesting summer than I am...

Okay, if you read New Haven Register or Connecticut Post or watch the news regularly, you've probably heard this story. But I haven't read the paper in a few weeks, and I don't watch the news, so I didn't hear about this until I went bowling with these people and some other friends yesterday.

Seems three girls from my school, and another friend of ours not from school, were stranded on Charles Island this week due to the rising tide. They were spotted by a lifeguard friend of mine, Matt, who incidentally just graduated from our school this year.

Apparently, CT Post has the correct story, while NH Register made it seem like Matt was the "good guy" and my other friends were "trespassing hooligans", or something.

But that's not the point. The point is, supposedly the whole time, they were saying "If only Dave was here with his video camera. We should have invited him."

And where was I? At home on my stupid computer.

Being made fun of online is a sign of e-popularity. Hanel gets made fun of because he's skinny. Adam gets made fun of because he has no teh life and always plugs his films. Gregory gets made fun of because he thinks he's gay, but he's really attracted to Target girls. Fig gets made fun of because he's Fig.

Asking to be made fun of is another of my desperate pleas for e-popularity.
