SWRPF Archive ~Evil Dominion: Betrayal from within~

AU TIMELINE AND FACTION INFO INFO:
Note: In this RP there never was an invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong.

About 150 years have passed since the final fall of Darth Sidious' Empire, and with it went all the horrible secrets of the Sith. The New Republic was founded and took many years to again become the strong central government that it was, and the New Jedi Order again took its place as the peace keepers of the Galaxy. The New Republic now exist largely in a state of prosperity and peace, except of course the outer-rim and of course the Hutt held territories, and the terror of the old Empire is largely forgotten.

Like all times though, when everything looks too good to be true, it is. The Sith where all but extinct for many years, but evil always finds a way. About 75 years ago a young Jedi who was on his final mission to become a Knight of the Jedi Order was sent to Onderon to investigate rumors about strange demon like creatures roaming the wooded areas of the planet, most of the Jedi assumed it was nothing more then a rogue creature from the nearby moon of Dxun. But it was not, it was a spirit of a long dead Sith, and it infected the mind of the young Jedi which turned drove him to the path of darkness. The Jedi searched and finding nothing they where forced leave the investigation unresolved.

Unfortunately for the Galaxy though, the young Jedi fled the planet of Onderon and went to the distant and largly ignored planet of Drongar. The Spirit of the Sith fed dreams of power to the young Jedi and taught him the ways and traditions of the Sith Order, and once he attained a level of mastery the former Jedi turned Sith took the name of Darth Lurid, and with it he would herald in a terror the galaxy had not seen in over 100 years, the Sith!

Immediatly the new Sith Lord discarded the old rule of 2 and set off to raise and train an army the likes of which the galaxy had not seen in a millenia, an army of Sith Warriors. His goal was simple, to restore the glorious day when the Sith ruled much of the galaxy.

Many years passed, 75 to be exact, and in all this time the Jedi Order still has no idea of what transpires on Drongar, he was free to build his army and it now stands with the might of 2,000 fully trained Sith warriors. Fate sometimes interjects to play cruel jokes on people, and this was one of those times, for Darth Lurid is now feeble with age, and it is only the dark side that supports his frail body. He will soon be gone, and with it his hopes of seeing the completion of his plans.

This is where the story starts, everyone will begin as a level 1 Sith and I will start once we have a few people ready to go. If you have any questions about anything please ask, thank you.

Drongar, home of the Sith

This planet was one of many worlds that was devastated by the fighting that took place during the Clone Wars. A swamp-covered planet dominated by steamy jungles, Drongar was originally discovered by a Nikto survey team some 200 years before the Battle of Geonosis. It was the innermost world in a four-planet system, and was orbited by a pair ot tiny moons. Drongar was one of many worlds that seemingly had nothing important to offer either the Old Republic or the Confederacy of Independent Systems, although both sides fought valiantly to control the bota which grew on the planet. The surface of the planet was continually whipped by monsoons and rainstorms, which dumped more water onto the planet's surface and maintained a cycle of humidity and heat that refuled more storms. The average temperature on Drongar was usually around the normal body temperature of a human, making it unconfortable at best. Making matters worse, the atmosphere of the planet was usually laden with a variety of adaptogenic, fungal spores, many of which caused spore sickness or other problems in humanoid races. The oxygen levels in the atmosphere were also higher than normal, which may have contributed to the changes the spores go through when airborne. Some of the spores were autoluminescent, and glowed

The only reason for her survial, was the blade of Oochy, which executed the two Sith. Now replaced in part by mechcanical parts, she keeps to herself and way from most. Mostly she designs and works on small projects alone in her quarters. Beyond that. nothing is none about her, but it is said, her saber ability is unmatched, though her Force powers are fairly weak.

OOC: Right now we only get 1 character and 1 NPC. I am going to change the ruling on NPCs though, the new rule will be as follows,

All players can also have a 0 level NPC to start, once the players main character reaches level 4 the NPC will advance to level 1, once the players main character reaches level 8 the NPC will advance to level 2, once the players main character reaches level 10 the NPC will be allowed to advance as if it was a normal character.

So really once your main character gets to 10th level the NPC will basically become a second main character.

I will get going on the story in about a day or two at the most, I know that there are some others interested in joining that I want to wait for.

Clothing & Apperance:
Darth Ixim wears clothing not normally seen on a Sith, but rather has a more elegant choice of apperal. He sports a long, black tunic, that hangs just above his knees, and is held to his body by a dark leather belt. The belt sports a few small compartments, and a large silver buckle. The tunic is layerd, and is held closed by a fastener located on the far left at the top of the tunic. The tunic matches the deep black color of the long pants he wears. The pants stop at about his shin, due to the tall, elegant dress boots he wears. The boots are made of a glossy black leather, and are very expensive, as is his entire ensamble. All that Ixim wears is made of extremely costly materials, and most of is has a armorweave to help protect against blaster bolts, and even lightsaber blades. Over his shoulders Darth Ixim wears a long, flowing cape that comes to a stop just below the height of his boots. The cape is fastend together with about eight platinum links that go across his upper chest. The cape serves not only to increase the size of his sillhouette, helping to improve the intimidation factor, but also as a sign of his class and elegance. The cape has an underlayer made of fine-grade, costly armorweave fabric, that drapes like silk down over him and, as mentioned before, helps dissipate blaster bolts and lightsaber blades.

Ixim is very much in shape, even at his age, and can still move as if he was in his youth, thanks in part to the Force. He stands about six feet, four inches in height, and is an intimidating figure. He has short platinum hair, that is usually slicked back to his head, and a pair of sideburns about the length of his earlobe. He sports a finely kept goatee and mustache, but nothing too extravagant. His eyes are a pale blue-gray color, and he holds the ability to immobilize weak minded individuals by gazing into their eyes. He has no visible markings on his body, and has white (caucasian) skin.

Lightsaber Description:
Hilt-The hilt of Ixim's lightsaber is curved, allowing for superior finesse and precise blade control. It is a lustrous platinum, and sports an attractive, elegant, and rare electrum finish. This lightsaber, custom made by Ixim himself, has been built for precision, speed, and power.
Color-The crystals within Darth Ixim?s lightsaber are synthetic Sith crystals, which generate greater power than a normal crystal. The crystal that provides the color if also a synthetic Sith crystal, and it glows with a deep, almost hypnotic Purple tint.

(Working) Biography:
Very little is known about the Sith known as Darth Ixim, but there is a defining aura of arrogance and evil that surround the Sith, leaving an uncomfortable feeling within all who are around him. He comes from a rather wealthy background, but with all none living relatives dead, he has inherited all of his familes fortunes. Ixim has been studying the ways of the Sith his entire life, being seduced by the lure of the Dark Side very early in his life. His true powers are not yet known, as he still has things to learn. Considered one of the best living lightsaber duelists in any Order, he is a very capable swordsman. Trained in many types of lightsaber combat, he seems to favor the uniqe and elegant fencing style. History:

Vildon never knew his parents. He grew up in the back room of a shady bar sunk into the dank depths of Nar Shadda. Not much is know about his early life, but it was recorded that he was raised by a Hutt of indeterminate gender. For some reason, he left before adolescence and at age 15 was a full-fledged bounty hunter.

It is said that he bore a strange resemblence to the feared mercenary Boba Fett both in voice and appearance, so he spent a decade finding the location of Fett's long-secret burial site. It is not known where exactly that was, or what was in it, but shortly after, he was spotted dressed in shining Mandalorian armor, which he has worn ever since. His ship is one of the last of the old line of KSE Firesprays, released back when the Galactic Civil War was at its height. He has modified it inside and out with new engines, weapons, and shields to keep it up to speed with modern technology.

His most infamous hunt was on the lost planet of Epsilon V. So named because it was the fifth planet of the Kreeg system, it was a rocky but temperate world with only a single outpost. Vildon was hired to kill a member of the New Republic senate who lived there- the flashier the better. So he went all out and bankrupted himself to buy a gigantic missile from an unknown supplier, than shot it right into the northern ice cap of the planet. A massive tidal wave of melted ice swept over the surface and every living being on the planet was killed. Today Epsilon is covered totally in water. Ever since then, Vildon has become known as Epsilon's Bane.

One day fifteen years ago, a shady man approached Vildon with an offer he couldn't refuse. A job on the planet Drongar. He mysteriously disappeared and hasn't been seen since then...

IC: Darth Lurid and Darth Malus, Underground training complex on Drognar

Deep within the bowels of the planet of Drognar, in a great throne room carved from the very rock of the planet sat an ancient man wrapped tightly in his dark cloak. At first glance the man looked to be so frail that most wondered how he ever came to such a position of power, but those who had dealt with him personally knew better. Darth Lurid, Dark Lord of the Sith now for seven decades, the father of the New Order was not a man to be trifled with.

He had ordered his apprentice, Darth Malus, too summon the most promising Sith in the Order, and they should be arriving soon. Darth Lurid was eager to finally meet his students, most of his time as of late had been spent in his chambers working over obscure teachings of the Sith or all but forgotten relics. In his place Darth Malus had taken care of all the day to day tasks of building the army and sharpening their skills, he had to admit that Malus was his best student but he was too harsh too lead the Order, his ruthless ways and obvious favortism was an open invitation for a coupe.

As the first of the choosen students began to arrive Darth Lurid smiled under the hood of his velvet robes, after all these years he would finally be able to take his revenge against the Jedi, those who abandoned him in the hour of his greatest need. He was once a Jedi Padawan himself, in a different time, but none of that training remained with him now, he was Darth Lurid, Dark Lord of the Sith.

Nemisis sat in his room, meditating, as he did most of the time, as well as training with his lightsaber. He rarely ever did anything else these days, he always tried to better himself so he could one day become the Dark Lord of the Sith. He respected the current Dark Lord, and obeyed his everyword, for he was very powerful, but he thought he would be better suit for the title of Dark Lord.

As soon as Nemisis got the message to go to the throne room, he stopped mediating and got up. Putting his black robe on, he put the hood up, covering his red and black hair, and exited his room. He made his way to the throne room, and sat waiting for the others to arrive.

Once the meeting was over, he would go meet his cousin, Josh, who he was very close with. He had been trying to get him to join the Sith, he could feel his Force sensitivity, and would hopefully succedd after this conversation.

The stealth warrior walked along the ceiling, propping himself up with the Force.

Time to test him Li-Jhong thought, then sprang down like a rocket at the master sitting in his chair, hand near the hilt of his Force imbued blade. With blinding speed, he executed an iai-jutsu (sword drawing art) slash at the man's head, landing on the ground with his face down.

IC as Darth Rogue

Planet Drognar; Sith Throne Room

Out of the shadows, a white haired, black garbed man entered the throne room and observed the others in the room. None knew of him, and vice versa. The only one who knew of him, was that of Darth Lurid and his apprentice. To them, he was Darth Rogue.

Power coursed through the room as it eminated off of Lurid. Anyone foolish enough to attempt to attack him would surely feel his wrath. Darth Rogue had a philosophy of not judging a book by its cover. Because doing so brings the judge an untimely end...
