Extras needed for NYC Fanfilm shoot - Aug. 12th & 26th

DEVELOPMENT HELL PRODUCTIONS will be filming two wild and woolly Cantina sequences...in a NYC nightclub on August 12th and August 26th...in the continuing production of the Star Wars fanfilm "Tremors of the Force"!

We will be on the Basement level of the Village Underground nightclub located at 130 West 3rd Street...between 6th Avenue and MacDougal Street...and we need anyone interested in coming down and being a part of the experience(details below) to arrive for any necessary costuming and/or makeup at 11:00 a.m. Shooting will continue until around 5:30-6:00 p.m.

Here's the catch, though...we are looking for a maximum of 20 people for this shoot, and it's first-come, first-served(so to speak). Mind you, though, that we will not be needing the same 20 people for each shoot, so if you can't get in on one, we'll fit you in on the other if you can make it down!

Different events will figure into each shoot. Here's the details...

Aug. 12th: The galaxy is in a state of high spirits at the Shore Leave Cantina on Corellia, what with the second Death Star being destroyed by that Rebel Alliance everyone seemed to think would lose...but there are whispers of another visitation by the dangerous crimelord Voldo Dracian, who is expected to make some kind of deal with the bar's shady Devaronian owner, Drane Slaad. He's always wanted a third Twi'lek dancer to join the two he already has...but there are also murmurs of a quiet stranger who walked into the Cantina looking for a single shot of Ruby Bliels and wanted a table to himself. Many in the Cantina are casting wary eyes upon him and you could have sworn that you heard someone say "Jedi" in regards to him.

If what Twi'lek dancer Sache' Minx says about Voldo is true, two lethal shafts of glowing light may flare tonight...

Aug. 26th: The Cantina had been closed for renovations following the chaos that ensued when a Jedi stranger fought and held off Voldo Dracian in a violent duel that claimed the lives of many of Voldo's men(including L'Yeen Ner'Gaal, one of Drane Slaad's Twi'lek dancers). The Cantina recently reopened, but the Jedi stranger has returned...and this time, he's not alone. Word is, however, that there's nothing for anyone to worry about. He rescued that cute blue Twi'lek Dracian had with him and she's part of his group today. So, for the most part, you should feel safe...

...but word is that Drane Slaad isn't too happy with this Jedi stranger, and he's determined to put him down for good. He's even tanked himself up good with a generous amount of Corellian Ale. Better watch out...a drunken Drane with a gun makes that unlucky punk Greedo seem like an expert marksman...

Costumes will be provided for this shoot, but we ask for your participation in this area by wearing articles of clothing that don't have any blatant product or performer markings(like Nike or NFL or pink Lindsay Lohan shirts...or whatever). If it looks too modern or "Earth-like", it may not help us. If you happen to know a little something about costuming? Definitely use this opportunity to show off your stuff, but remember to keep it in a "Star Wars" motif.
