‎"Les Misérables" is one of the most beautiful films ever created. It's raw emotion is unparalleled, it's storytelling impeccable, it's music phenomenal. When Anne Hathaway as Fantine sings "I Dreamed a Dream", there was not a dry eye in the house. If you have not seen it yet, go see it.

I'm working on TV recommendations from you guys; I'm starting with Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones. (Yeah, I know, very different shows.)

My brother posted a picture on Facebook of my nephew wearing a Rex helmet and carrying a lightsaber. I replied that we need to talk. There seems to be a bit of, um, weaponry confusion here. But the image was awesome regardless. One more child in my family corrupted recruited.:D

    Merry Christmas everybody.

My 6-year-old niece was proud to play me part of the SW main theme on piano :)

She then told me all about SW:Identities, where you choose a SW character; she has never seen the movies but she ended up choosing an Ewok.

Her Dad was a Bith Jedi :p

My favorite episode from the Clone Wars was when Captain Jean-Luc Picard started sabotaging the Republic's efforts on Umbara so that he could join Dooku, only for Commander Riker to discover the plan when he accidentally shoots Worf and then leads the clones to kill Jean-Luc Picard and put a stop to his plan.

Same here. Exactly five. And two of them--The Lorax and Madagascar 3--were because of my kids, I probably wouldn't have gone to them on my own.

    Here is my list:

Lincoln: ****ing awesome, will be buying the Blu-Ray the first day it premiers.

Brave: Loved it, although I haven't bought the Blu-Ray yet. I was very pleased to see that my niece got it for Christmas though, she's very much a girly-girl and I am happy to see that she likes a movie with a good "Princess" role model.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax: OK, not overly impressive but not bad either.

Madagascar 3: Not all that great. Thankfully my kids didn't think so either so I don't ever have to watch it again.

Amazing Spider-Man: Thoroughly enjoyed it, much better than the 2002 Spiderman movie.

There are several others there that I want to see but haven't gotten to yet: The Avengers, The Hobbit, Dark Knight Rises, Life of Pi.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and I love films that have historical backgrounds. :)

Well if we are gonna make lists.

Redtails - Ok but P-51Ds are awesome.
Prometheus - Better after the 2nd watch through.
The Avengers - Was tons of fun, saw it twice actually
    Dark Knight Rises - Awesome
    Brave - Was surprisingly good

As long as we're making lists:

Red Tails: I seem to be part of the minority that really liked this movie. Sure, it was campy, but I liked the "action movie" take on actual events.
The Avengers: I thought it was really entertaining. It was a great summer flick.
The Lorax: Meh. It wasn't spectacular, and the super-commercialized feel sort of detracted from the message, but it did a good job of expanding the original story.
The Dark Knight Rises: A great ending to a great trilogy.
Lincoln: Excellent, excellent acting. One of the best historical dramas I've ever seen.
Skyfall: This is probably my favorite movie of the year. I'm not a big James Bond fan but I got really into this film. It was a ton of fun, and it tied the old Bond films to the new ones really well.
