Back in the day it was Charles Chips, for those that know...
Parmesan n Garlic chips by Shearers were my fav store bought til they got axed.

My Fitness Center has a grille and our staff makes fresh potato chips as we need them.
I'm so spoiled.

 

The only place around here can get somewhat fresh made chips from is Zaxby's. You lucky dog partner...

 

I know I'll get flak for this, but I don't like chips. It's peanut flips all the way.

 

I don't care for chips and haven't had any in years.

Heck yeah, "chips" in England as in "french fries" in the US. Here for chips you could be talking about potato chips or corn chips, such as the Doritos I mentioned that started all this.

To Seerow's point, I don't like all the other flavors of Doritos either. Some are good, some aren't good at all. The Nacho Cheese, probably the most popular, are pretty nasty.

And Cape Cod is always fun. I've gone there many summers through the years.

 

I pretty much make daily snack runs for either of those.

I'm sorry but for me good 'fries' need to have potato peal still on the edges and Carolina seasoning salt.

 

Worst fries I've ever had: Jack in the Box in Fresno.

Best fries ever: A random cart in Brussels.

 

England calls potato chips 'crisps', but here both potato chips and hot chips are just referred to as 'chips'. Mildly confusing. Not as weird as 'ketchup' instead of tomato sauce,

 

Oh no believe me, we do have ketchup. And we do call it ketchup as well as tomato sauce. But I think of tomato sauce as more the stuff you cook pasta in or the stuff baked beans comes in.

Do I really have to take a picture of my food cupboard?

 

Do you have peppermint sauce in your cupboard? I'd like to see that.

 

You mean mint sauce? We have that, it goes really well with lamb. I don't have any in my cupboard though.

I lived in England for a few years when I was a kid. I'd like to see pictures of your cupboard if you've got any Jaffa Cakes or Milk Chocolate Digestives in there.
