We just got a new stove and cookies were the first thing I made with it.

I'm sure you must be a fantastic cook.

 

I don't have a camera to post pictures but I make some yummy stuff on occasion.
I made these brownies for work and everyone kept telling me they were the best brownies ever. They are a family recipe so I will post it since you can't get it online or in a book.

1 c butter
2 cups sugar
1/4 c cocoa powder
4 eggs
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 chopped pecans

Melt the butter, add sugar and cocoa. Add well beaten eggs, add flour and remaining ingredients, mixing in the pecans last. Bake in a 9x12 pan at 375 for 25-30 minutes.

My oldest sister says if you bake them at 350 for about 40 minutes they come out even better. I don't usually frost these just sprinkle a little powdered sugar on them when they are cooling.

I can cook very basic things- steamed vegetables, stir-fried tofu, pasta, etc. My favorite recipie is an Italian soup (I don't know how to spell it), that is pasta and beans. I usually cook it with zuchinni and peas.

I also bake good cookies. My German friend called me "the best cookie-baker".

I want to learn how to make tomato sauce. My mom keeps saying that she is going to teach me, but she never does.
