    Please do post some!
    I'm an absolute foodie & I was wayyy too excited to see this thread on the front page. I made Italian meatball burgers on Monday, stir-fry garlic pork with tomatoes & green onion on Tuesday, soy-ketchup-sesame flank steak on Wednesday, & mozzarella and green onion risotto yesterday. Right now I'm working on some red velvet cupcakes for a bridal shower. I can post some pictures once I'm finished!

    Red velvet with cream cheese frosting for a bridal shower. I would have used a different frosting & I would have decorated them differently, but I just fulfilled the bride's requests.

    Thanks, everyone! My baking has never elicited a marriage proposal, but I suppose there's a first time for everything hahah.
    And Whitey, I've never made a key lime pie. My family isn't crazy about lemon/lime. I'll have to try that sometime anyway.

    Today I made poached barramundi with lemon-sauteed mushrooms and a cream sauce. :)

    Thank you Julia Child for the recipe! But NO THANKS for turning me into a sauce freak. [face_frustrated] :p

    Another dinner compliments of Julia Child.

    I made boeuf bourguignon and it turned out really well considering it was my first attempt ever. :)

    I have quite a few pics to add to this. During my little timeout, my social life decided to come back to life and this has been the best summer i've had since 2003.

    tomorrow i will post a few pics of the bushel of blue crabs my friends and I caught and steamed the other day. And a few pics of a stingray, but we didn't eat that,I would like to think that steve irwin would be happy that it died. I hope they aren't endangered or anything, because the guys who caught was too scared to throw it back and I got a little knife happy since it was going to die anyways.

    At the request of Andrew, I'm sharing my recipe for banana peanut butter chocolate chip bars.

    1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
    3/4 c packed brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 overripe banana, mashed
    3/4 c peanut butter
    1 c flour
    1 c chocolate chips

    Preheat oven to 370 degrees. Grease an 8x8, 9x9, or 11x7 pan.

    Cream together butter & sugar, then beat in the eggs. Add banana & peanut butter, mix to combine. Stir in flour until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

    Pour into the greased pan & bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Insert a knife or toothpick into center to check for doneness [if it comes out clean, bars are done].

    Wanted kabobs on the grill and put together what I had in the frig.

    Steak, onions, red pepper and bacon. Marinated the steak in teriyaki then wrapped it in turkey bacon.

    [image=http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/healerleona/101_1504.jpg]

    Skewered.

    [image=http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/healerleona/101_1505.jpg]

    On the grill.

    [image=http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/healerleona/101_1506.jpg]

    Dinner is served with a vanilla snapps laden pineapple smoothie.
    [image=http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/healerleona/101_1510.jpg]

    It was most delightful.

    That looks scrumptious.

    I made curried, roasted, mixed vegetables in the toaster oven, mixed them with whole wheat couscous, and stirred in almonds, hazelnuts, raisins and cranberries.

    No pictures though.

    That seriously sounds yummy! I love nuts and berries in foods. I'm planning on making a chicken salad that has pecans and craisins in it.
