Our year finished last Friday, and exam period began this Monday just past.

I will be doing Human Nuerobiology tommorrow, one of my better subjects, but made all the more hard by the smart-alec bastard course convenor he thought it would be "a bit of a chuckle" (his words) to make the exam all short answer/essay questions from obscure yet broad area's of the course.

Bugger making me study every last silly detail grumble grumble I liek Milk.

Hmmm... I have no qualms with my hour long test. It's the 8000 words due in that annoy me.

    8000 words!! = ouch.

Exam on the 14th, and our lecturer broke his leg in 2 places so we didnt even get a proper tute yesterday, which was the last day. Which just makes for a positive outlook on the whole thing.

Hi! I'm new, but seeing as procrastination is one of my bestest skills (Arts student ahoy!) I thought this would be a great place to start (if no-one minds)

And really, the only way to procrastinate is to convince yourself that by having a beer (or another type of delicious alcomahol) per page of note reading, you're still having fun while studying...6 pages later, you're studying while having fun, and by the end of a chapter, you're lucky if you're still standing (depending if you're reading a history text book or not)

    Cheers!

Ha ha ha go Arts go Arts! I'm majoring in Asian Studies and doing a DML in Indonesian actually - i'm through with politics fair dinkum - and need very minor scores to pass the year! Which = no study :D

RP I bet you will get a better score than me in global despite the fact that I've actually attended more than 30% of the lectures compared to your 10%. Firm.

Hmmm... I'm set for tomorrow. I'm going to eat English Literature for afternoon tea.

Then I have 6 days of school, then monday = English (Tegh 3V1L), and Phys Ed. :D. Tuesday - Break day for me, on Wed = Methods (Meh, I hope I can remember the equations) and my last day = Thursday = Chem and Physics (Which is how I'd liek to end my year - though I'm disappointed that they be introduced Quantum Phsyics into the Yr. 12 course in '05 .

Bah, Physics had traces of quantum physics in it back in my day (last year), it's not THAT difficult to grasp at high school level. :p

I was blessed by Huggard this year with two easy text questions and a relatively simple issue on teh English exam. No problems there.

Spec might have been a bit easier if had I actually studied for it at all, but of course, such drastic actions should only be reserved for getting into something like medicine.

Methods, Physics and Legal up next - all pretty easy, although with VCAAs decision that "exams this year should be less predictable" I fear I may actually have to learn concepts of light for physics. :( Oh well.

Howdy Pulsar, obviously a fan of the X-Wing books. Good to see.

Just a quick note: around here the idiots who pretend to run the place get narky if you speak openly about alcohol.

We've adopted the synonym of "Milk" for all alcohol related discussions: doubly handy because you can discuss "pints" without it being obvious you aren't actually referring to bovine excretia.

Oh, and Welcome to our crazy corner of the intraweb. ;)

What he said. And I didn't read any of this, because alcohol is bad and you shouldn't drink it.

    Ahhh milk...sweet, sweet milk :)

Thanks for the toasty welcome! I'm out at the Latrobe Hippy Farm doing History, so I get all the fun of the dark ages, combined with the extra special excitement of massive essays!

But it's only T-minus 3 hours and counting til total brain evacuation...
