That last blow by Anakin looks like its on a Tusken Raider.

This movie is gonna be awesome.

Whoa! After watching the trailer a couple more times, it really seems like Episode II will be quite different from all the other Star Wars movies. Definately love the return of the Duel of the Fates score... All I have to say is "Wow, wow, wow, wow!" It's pretty neat to see a little more of the Dark Side of Anakin coming out, especially showing a little anger.

EDIT: The sound is off-sync (at least for the MIDDLE size), just like the "Mystery" trailer. Hopefully, the LARGE size will be synced, just like it is with the "Mystery" trailer.

I'll admit I was a little bored at the start of the trailer, but the end sure makes up for it! I'm off to watch it again, again, and again! Did I mention again?

This movie looks absolutely amazing! I'm hoping that someone will post a link to the large version soon!

 

We're all waiting for the large version...
It would be nice if the smaller versions actually had decent frame-rates and sound-sync, but I can't complain too much; the trailer is just awesome.

OK....aside from shock, elation, joy (another word for elation), shock again, and bliss.....any other reactions specific to what we saw?

What was that look they were giving each other when Anakin was carrying the luggage? Didn't look to friendly!!!

 

I've watched it again. The acting is just great, and oddly enough, the first half just doesn't feel like Star Wars. Then it does... I love Ani's line: "Someday I will be the most powerful Jedi!" Reckless is he!

There were some *AWESOME* shots of stuff we haven't seen before really. Looks like more of that arena from "Good job". Count Dooku wielding his saber...

I LIKE IT!!! If nothing else, my fears over Anakin's acting have been alleviated for the most part. It's gonna be a loooong six months.

 

My thoughts on the trailer:

The trailer as a whole wasn't as good as "Mystery".

Some of Anakin's dialogue is absolutely horrible. I have seen Christensen in other roles and I think he is a great actor, however it seems, if this trailer is any indication, that he was stuck with a horrible script. It doesn't seem like Anakin is a teenage version of Vader (which is more of what I was expecting) then he is a slightly older version of Jake Lloyd. Lines like "Someday I will be the most powerful Jedi ever" sound very similar "I'm going to be the first one to seem 'em all!"

Natalie seems to have matured a lot more in terms of character and dialogue (unlike, in my opinion, Anakin). She will probably be the one to carry the romantic part of the movie.

Speaking of the romance, the rumors are the romance in this movie is done horribly. Unfortunately this trailer has done nothing to reassure me in that area.

Obi-wan looks to be the best character in this movie. He should have plenty of action sequences, as well as emotional confrontations with Anakin. Also I hope that humor like his "good job" line is sprinkled throughout the movie.

And, of course, the action. This Star Wars movie will probably be the most exciting and action-packed movie yet. Jango Fett is looking awesome, as is the clone army. The dark mood is also a welcome sight after enduring the Chuck E. Cheese style of TPM.

All in all, if I had to review this movie based on the trailers I would say it will be a dark, action-packed Star Wars movie which is good. However, poorly developed characters and their relations along with bad dialogue will make this movie only slightly better than TPM.

I hope Lucas proves me totally wrong and that this movie brings back the wonderful character relationships and fun dialogue of the OT. But, I'm about ready to give up on the prequels and just resign to thinking of Star Wars as OT only.

Holy cow. Padme is such a babe. Every male star wars fan is wishing he was Anakin. I know I am. Hehe. But seriously, what a departure from the other movies. I wonder what prompted Lucas to write,

I give it two BIG thumbs up. And like all of the rest of you, I'm off to watch it again.

Hmmmmmmm. I'm not sure that the lines are all that bad here. The "someday" line is really there just because Anakin is getting rather angry and it serves as foreboding. I liked it.

 

did anyone notice the title sounds like a porno.

 

Oh enough with the "oh the acting is bad" and "oh the lines are corny".

Ask yourself how YOU would deliver those lines. Hayden is pretty good.

The guy is being rumored for Supporting Actor Oscars for Life as a House. The guy can act.

Gosh...Natalie looks beautiful in every scene!!
