Happy Stuff Venting Thread!!!!

My belly is full of dee-licious schwarmah and hummus, my heart is full of love for my family and friends, and my road is full of forks. How exciting.

 

Just spent a couple of days w/ M.I.L and now on to my own mom's house tomorrow.

 

So great to spend that time with the family SC, glad you are having fun!

 

I'm so glad you wrote down what we ate, because I couldn't remember and it was way yummy.

 

Had an awesome night with brother providing our very own rifftrax to Tron. Good times. I wanted them to see it before we go see Legacy. I think they are sufficiently indoctrinated now.

 

Miho now has a sewing machine.....step one of acquiring a Jedi costume = complete!

I was officially promoted at work today. What does this mean? I now work Saturdays. Good bye Social Life, Hello Shift Differential and Significant Raise.

 

Congrats on the raise, suckage on the every Saturday. When does that start?

What weekday do you get off, and shift differential? What are your hours?

 

I will be off Thursdays and Sundays...same shift during the week and from 10:30 to 7:00 on saturdays. Differential is 20%. So is the raise. I have procured a most excellent and reliable sitter...did I get them all?

 

I did forget one! It starts NEXT saturday...and so, since my nephew's party isn't until 6pm, praps I will make a visit to the meeting. With the agenda, its bound to go on for at least 4.5 hours.

Depends on how long-winded people are answering the questions. At the Thanksgiving one, I think that part (or what you like about the RMFF) took only an hour and a half.

Should we bring an egg timer? Some of us can get pretty...verbose.

 

Watch out, every time you point a finger 3 are pointing back at you.

A slushy sounds really good, Pooh. If it warms up enough today, I think young Bean and I will go and find a nice icee.

 

I slept for 11 hours last night!!!!

 

I found a treadmill model at the gym that places the built in tv screen at the right height for me. All the other ones are too high, and while
I can look up, the viewing angle makes the screen darker than normal. This right-height option doesn't have an iPod dock, so it will be good only for watching what is airing on tv. But it is at least an option for that!

 

I won my court case.
