It's gonna be Cantina based, that much I can tell You with a Lounge Singer Pin-Up on the back for fun! I am spotlighting this character because I found a NEW appreciation for Her in The Clone Wars.


I promise Bill, Black is not the color I am tailoring it to.

If the music of the cantina is the focus, I'll need extras. My sister with the music degree will have to have one. She coaches color guard in Nebraska, and there's talk that their fall field show will be Star Wars. Of course, she thinks we should all just load up our costumes and road trip out there for one of the big events....

 

Or, you know, we could just ask the SW folks in Omaha to pitch in.

 

We could do that. I think she was trying to one-up someone with a tangential connection to the 501st or something. I'll offer her the ZOO connection to Omaha peeps if that actually becomes the show.

 

I went to a garage sale today in my neighborhood and got a dewalt screwgun with 2 batteries and a dewalt mini skill saw. They wanted $25 each but I talked him down to $40 for the set. Well, I hand motioned and made an ass out of myself. He was def.

Good find! Garage sales can be great like that. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.

 

I pitched an "outside of the box" creative idea and so far it has been liked!!! Just have to get some more feedback and work out some budget stuff and if it goes through I think it will be a great fit!

And there was much rejoicing!!! I turned in my last and final file today. I still have some work to do, but the hard part is over. At least until they move us to our new jobs....

 

I am happy as i am not sick anymore!!! i have a slight cough, but NOTHING like i was!!! and i actually FEEL good. HUZZAH!!!!

 

HAD my first annual review today. i have nothing to complain about and i got a substantial pay raise!


my boss said so many nice things i almost starting crying it was so nice!!!

 

Had to clean out the closet in my computer/ star wars room so the electrician can do his thing in there tomorrow. Man I love my toys! Vintage FTW!

I'm in the market for broken/parts of action figures. Also a cheap room screen, should anyone have one they're getting rid of....

 

I have some action figure parts and by room screen do you men like a shoji screen? We have one that is for photos but we have no room for it.

 

Yeah, that's what I mean -- I don't have much room, but it occurred to me a few days ago that if I could screen off my office/computer/bead area, my apartment would look a lot less like a disaster. If what you have would work, how much would you want for it?
