I went as Bellatrix and had a HP-themed birthday party so we could do the midnight showing. I've seen it three times now and have inspiration for more HP stuff from the opening scene than any other part of the movie.

Well, a lot of those ideas are going into a fic called "If You're Hoping I'll Return" about Hermione in Australia.

Does anyone know who the headmaster is when Harry's kids go to Hogwarts? I can't remember if it was mentioned in the books and I want to set a fic at that time. [face_thinking]

I guess I could make up a new headmaster. It would mean that I wouldn't have to worry about characterisation and stuff. I'd rather stick with canon though, but if there isn't any canon then I guess I can't. [face_thinking]

I don't think it was mentioned. JKR just said that McGonagall had taken the position, but retired before the little Potters made it there.

I am really excited. I think I am seeing it at midnight and then in IMAX 3D Friday night.

Yes I know twice but I think it's worth. I am forever grateful my friends dragged me to the midnight showing of OOTP.

I've got my ticket booked for Friday, and I'm so excited! My sister and I have been watching the series so far as she has them all on DVD. Watching them all has made me want to continue with the diary I'm writing.

I just got back from the movie and I can't say enough just how impressed I am with this last movie. I think as a whole it really was the best of the movies and definitely a triumphant ending! They had all the parts from the book I wanted most like Mrs. Weasley's words to Bellatrix, Neville defeating the snake, and the revealing of Snape's past. All were wonderfully done, and I'm very happy with it.

    That was sooooo good!!

I'm sure there is, somewhere, though I don't know how official it is. (Though the House Cup game is starting sign-ups next month; you should play!!)

There's a movie poll here if anyone else is interested :)

Have fun! I guess it's really something for you. :p I couldn't do that. Too expensive. I usually only see films once in the theatres, then wait for them to come out on DVD. I think The Two Towers and Return of the King are the only films I have ever seen twice in theatres.

I saw Toy Story 3 twice, once in 2D and once in 3D. The first time I saw it was in 2D with my dad and my sister who have problems with 3D films. I like it so much that I saw it in 3D. It's probably the only film I've seen twice in a cinema.

I forgot to ask this in my last post, but I'm really curious. Y'know that spell that Ron tried out on the train to Hogwarts in the first film? At the time we thought it was just a bad spell or something, but what if it was a good spell and the only reason why it didn't work is because Scabbers wasn't a real rat but Peter Pettigrew in disguise?
