Nope. I tried to do a GCSE in German, then they cancelled the class because I was the only one who wanted to do it. Then the only teacher who spoke German left the school, and I never got another chance.

Too bad.
I never liked learning languages much, but now I realized that learning German in the past would be a smart move. My lectures and academic part of Uni are all in English, but I live in Zürich, so I have to know the language pretty well. And I spent most of my day on the college, not having a chance to get some proper experience in conversation in German. Basically, all have is my fading high school knowledge and language skills in buying groceries, cloths and books.

 

*is currently trying to pick up Croatian by reading this forum; Latvian by nagging someone; and Russian by watching Nochnoi Dozor and Dnevnoi Dozor too much*

Also, once Mar starts up Slovak lessons I'll learn that, and judging by my latest tastes (been buying lots of Zywiec...) I'll end up trying Polish before long too

 

I tried to sign up for the German language course the Uni offers, but the stupid web form didn't work and they didn't email me back.
