Actually, it was Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

 

He may have been referring to Upper and Lower Canada, which were expanded to become the modern provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

 

I wish we could all just get along and put our differences aside. I have cousins in Cagary and they cant stand Ontario...

 

I wounder if my sarcasm was lost on this group.

 

it's kinda funny... I'm from Montreal, and all my friends and I have no problems with the west .. and I have some friends in the west, including my uncle, and he and his friends have no problem with ontario or quebec...

I know that Quebec is one of the most anal retentive provinces, and even I have some issues with the way that they run the province, but at the same time... It's not everyone... just certain people...

Like I said, why judge people because of where they live? Prejudice is what it is...and that's just as bad as racism IMHO.

We don't judge people based on where they live. We just hate their government and the way they do things.

 

But the governement is chosen by the people, and therefore is a representation of them ...

Something I don't like admitting...I voted for Stockwell Day...I'd do anything to get rid of Chretien!

 

Even though I'm a Westerner, if Stephen Harper ever becomes Prime Minister, I'm going to have to kill him.

Sure, Chretien's not the greatest guy around, but he's better than the alternative.

I think BC needs a new party that isn't so fanatical. All there is is the far left, the far right, and the greens.

 

I wish we had a Marijuana Party on PEI ...

 

I have nothing against what we term "Easterners." Take a look at the fine people posting on this board, for example. They are wonderful people! The problem lies within the way the Government ignores us (anyone west of Manitoba...)

I think Canada needs to acquire new lands. That way BC won't be on the frontier anymore.
