Official Info Here we go again...

My favorite character is Yoda. Always has been. Watching the prequels was great, because I got to see my favorite little green friend again. I was wondering the other day whether I'd see him again in any form, etc etc.

Then I wondered something else. What if my favorite character is someone in the ST? What if my favorite moment in the Star Wars saga hasn't happened yet? What if the best duel is yet to come? What do you think the chances are for you that some of your favorites haven't happened yet? And isn't that mere possibility awesome?

 

Open your mind is. Approve, Yoda would.

I'm glad Abrams is taking the job seriously, as a fan of the franchise I hope he will try to include things that will appeal to a broad spectrum of Star Wars fans (those that like the EU, those that like the PT etc)

THERE IT IS!!!!!! My god - it's back to haunt us! I feel vindicated now that we have proof of the horrendous "Evil Padme"/"Padme is a Sith"/whatever nonsense that has pained my gut ever since.

 

No, I think those threads probably happened before ROTS, not before AOTC.

 

That dude that bet that Jar Jar was going to die in Episode 2 lost his farm. Thats sad.

 

Looks like the same sort of nonsense threads we're getting now. Padme is the Evil one, lol.

 

"If Owen is Ben's brother, then is he force sensitive?" Yeah. That. How long has it been since that whole "Obi Wan has a brother" thing was considered decent dinner party talk?

 

That's a thought that really boggles my mind. For eight years I've assumed the films were finished and that the main story was complete. The notion that ten years from now there could be a new "I am your father" scene or a track better than Duel of the Fates is hard to believe.

I suggest we "resurrect" every one of these threads and update for relevance to Ep7...to honor board history and stuff.

Oh my goodness! I remember lurking the boards during Episode 3!!! Those spoiler pics would keep me awake and on my dad's poor computer until 2 AM!

 

Alas, it's long gone now, but does anyone remember the "Back in Black video?

 

Here we are again, then. I've always lurked TFN, but I figured I needed to join the party for this particular run.

I have to say, like most, I am cautiously optimistic. That being said, even if Ep. VII is garbage I'll still go see it, still buy it every time it gets released on video, and gripe endlessly about it while watching it 3 times a week.

Glad to be among my people.
