Oregon Hi everyone!

I'm new and from Portland. I always thought I was the only Star Wars fan in this city. Guess you all don't get around much, or maybe I don't. Don't you wish they would have some kind of Star Wars convention here?

 

Yes, that would be cool. I didn't know there were so many Portland fans, either. One of the moderators of this board, Mr. K, is from Portland, too. Isn't that cool?

 

Yeah, that is neat. If only we could have some type of SW convention here...

 

Me three...You should look at some of the other threads here. You will see who more of the Portlanders are.

heh

ummm, same old same old, rainy actually thought it was going to be nice for awhile, but I guess the weather was against me.

how bout you

 

Pretty rainy. It was nice in Tillamook county, which is where I was on vacation, so that was nice, but now the lawns need mowing and it's been raining intermittently so I hope it stops for a while.

 

bah, they say its going to freeze tonight. What a way to start out the summer.

Yay, only 1 and a half days of school left. then only 2 more years of high school to go

 

Bunch a young whippersnappers in here. 2 years more of high school eh? Now I remember back in the old days, when I was kid...just kidding....I'm not that old yet.

BTW: I love the current weather here in the great northwest. Damp and cool. Much better than hot and sticky that my brother is getting in Austin, TX. I can only hope it lasts....

 

I doubt it'll freeze. Would you believe that (technically) it's still spring? The week I spent in Tillamook could've convinced me it's summer now!

I'm not from Oregon, per se, but my mom is (born in Lebonon), and therefore I've been to Portland/Salem lots. Next to my home state of Minnesota, OR is the place I love best.

ugh, just spent the last weekend doing a stupid garage sale/car wash. Im sunburnt to a crisp, well not exactly, but close to it.

I actually wish it would rain right now.

Yep, been there I have. Many a wonderful times. In fact, just today, my uncle who IS living in Portland was in town. Took him to the Mall of America.

I've had a lot of fun with my local fanforce chapter (Minneapolis), which is why I headed over here, cuz I love this neck of the woods too.
