What do you think about having a joined Slavic FanForce?

Is there enough of us?

 

There is already a FFPoland. Maybe if there aren't enough Slavs to make their own Fan Force they can join there.
How many have you encountered?

 

Well, I've encountered some people from smaller Slavic countries...

It seems to me that they don't participate much in anything because they don't feel....
like there is someone like them here....

If you know what I mean...

 

You should ask them if they would be interested in their own FanForce and then talk to the administration about it.

 

This has been brought up as a suggestion before, to create a Slavic FF board to start off with, but it has been hard to find 3 people interested in it. I think it would be great, maybe a Slavic region could be created, just like we have the French, German and Nordic region here in the European section.

And abott Slavs and slavic... I really don't know if this is a real denominator for us, but we spaek simmilar languges, slavic...

so it was only logical to name us all Slavs... or Slaveni or whatever....

Suggestions... Easy to say We can stay with the name Slavic if we will not find better name.
By the way, in Poland we are saying Slowianie.

 

We say Slaveni in Croatia...

 

This is a great idea, since only Polish have an own forum. I suppose there is lots of Slavic people - enough to make a Slavic Board living. At least I hope it is so - because this particular thread didn't gather much attention so far

 

As I sad on on FF Poland, we must find the people from Slavic Countries, and PM the or send an e-mail
And there is information, How can we start Slavic FF
PS. We are on the best way (or I hope so)

Czech Republic reporting in...

If I encounter anyone else from my country, I'll direct them here... though they may not be many. The Czech Star Wars community is relatively small, and most of its members are active only on local level (such as Czech Star Wars Universe, see link in my sig )

EDIT: Anybody of you going to Koprcon this week? I know that some, uh, "comrades" from Poland plan to attend.

In Poland we have the same problem. There are fans, but only on a local level most of them are active.
In FanForce Poland Board are 8 active fans, and another 8, who are less active

Well, it won't be a regional as much as linguistic Forum because Slavic languages are spoken from Poland in the west to Russia in the east, and from Russia in the north to Macedonia in the south...

From the Baltic sea to the Mediterranian Sea and the Black sea...

It's a big region, with many different cultures and many different nations, but we all speak simmilar languages and were all under the heel of the Eastern block for 45 years... (except Yugoslavia, but it doesn't exist anymore...
