Name: Jonathon LaMarr
Age: 25
Appearance: A shadowy figure. He is tall and skinny and seems to stalk around a lot. Despite his less the intimidating appearance he knows a lot about The Matrix.
Personality: Loner, however he could have leadership skills if he were to be put to the test. Like most of those who know about The Matrix, he is a hacker.
Clothing: Before being introduced to the real world: Black shirt, Chuck Taylor Converse All-Stars, and regular jeans
Inventory/Weapons: 2 9mm automatic pistols, Uzi, (expert with all weapons)
Vehicle: Mclaren F1 (Black)
Race/Program: British
Purpose: Unknown
Affiliation: Unknown
Skills: A great hacker and a weapons specialist.
Biography: Jonathon Renson became interested in computers when he was very young. He soon became a hacker and got wind about The Matrix. He tried to find out as much as he could about it but it seemed to be impossible. One night when he was at home he was confronted about The Matrix and was told that he could every thing he could ever want to know about The Matrix, he didn't waste a moment. He became a rebel and helped fight against the machines, he was only 21. The rest of his story is about to unfold...

Jon materialized in the old beat up house. Once he was done entering the Matrix he set the phone down quietly onto its holster. He walked over to the door that would lead out to his car. He opened the door with a jolt and it slammed into the wall that it was fastened to. He shut the door then locked it. His car was waiting for him parked perfectly next to the curb. He unlocked the doors then jumped in. He took off burning rubber, speeding down the old gravel road. Soon he would be in New York.

5 minutes later...

Jon came speeding into New York City, he had business to do. He adjusted his tie, and then picked up his ringing phone.
"LaMarr, your objective is five blocks away, they are waiting for you."
"Almost there."
"Bones will give the complete breakdown, good luck and watch out for those Agents."
"Okay."
Jon hung up and screeched into a parking spot three feet away from the expensive hotel. He got out of the car and was greeted by a skinny man dressed in a suit. Bones was the first to talk.
"Here's the update..."

OOC: Hey, Sith_Lords. I'm only butting in to point out that DVC is on my ship, the Last Bolt, while your Character Sheet says you are on the Chimera?

IC: Forty-Seven, aboard the 'Last Bolt'.

Surfacing from his pleasurable daydream, he sensed one of his crewmates on the next couch; turned his head to see who it was, and grinned. Nathan Lotts.

On a mission inside the Matrix, the duo were as different from most of the other operatives as it was possible to get.
For all their hatred of the lethal Agents that opposed them, most were almost copies of them. Cool, formal, streamlined. Their minds on nothing but accomplishing the objective at hand.

But if the operator ever bowed to Forty-Seven's request for the white Lotus Esprit from the Spy Who Loved Me movie, as she sometimes did, he and Nathan bickered like a couple of schoolgirls in the playground.
He wanted to drive it for the ground-to-air missiles, rear-spraying oil slick, turns into a fragging submarine; and Nathan wanted it cos it matched his suit.
Forty-Seven enjoyed teasing the younger man by telling others that he was a 'hair-puller', to explain his own baldness.

"Hey, Nathe'," he greeted. "What do you think the mission is?"

Ghost sensed someone is behind him, he didn't need to look to see. And Ghost concentrated on the one in front of him.

"Ghost, correct? Representing Niobe and the Logos?"

"Yes that is I." Ghost answered.

My human name is Trevor, but I'm known here as Shinobi. I wouldn't expect you to know me. I'm jacked in from the Ragnarok, running Recon here. Anything I can help with."

Legendary Lost Ragnarok interesting the only survivor of the ship that lost it's way to Zion.....

"Shinobi isn't that the same Shinobi who infiltrated Black Lotus's Mainframe and not only cracked it but destroyed Black Lotus himself and live to tell the story?" Ghost Remarked.

And then just over Shinobi's shoulder was another.

"Revolver's what they call me." He introduced himself.

Ghost simply nodded.

"I've been following a program for some time now. He began showing certain... strange traits."

He looked at Ghost.

"Wanna take a look see?"

"Strange traits....sounds like a program doing something it's not doing it's job." Ghost replied.

Name: Jennifer Howe, alias 'Rip van Winkle' or Rip.
Age: 25
Appearance: Medium height, Dark curly hair, brown eyes.
Personality: Fiery, sarcastic, arrogant. Prone to bouts of rage over very small things. She calls it her 'artistic temprament'. Which art she's referring to remains a mystery.

Clothing: Typical 'out of the Matrix' clothes- black baggy shirt with holes, brown cargo trousers, boots.
Inventory/Weapons: lots of wires and bits of mechanical stuff. Big spanner.
Vehicle: The Last Bolt.
Race/Program: British caucasian, Rebel

Purpose: Good question. Currently she's the operator on board the Last Bolt.
Affiliation: Rebels
Skills: Hacking, programming.
Biography: Jennifer was pretty ordinary all her life; born, went to school, bullied, usual path. She dropped out of university three years ago and drifted from job to job, never holding one down for very long due to her very short fuse. Her only constant job was fixing and programming computers for a second-hand electronics shop, while doing a little light hacking on the side. At age 24 she was called into the back of the shop as she was about to go home, and was then offered her choice of pill. Since then she has been operator on board the Last Bolt, hardly ever venturing back into the Matrix.

Look forward to rpg-ing with you guys! :)

Rip

Rip looked over her shoulder at her two crewmates, recumbent on the plug-festooned chairs that allowed their minds to access the Matrix. She'd just finished plugging them in and, as usual, they were chatting. Probably about that bloody car, the Lavatory Spirit or something.... Men. Honestly. Give them a car and they bicker like schoolgirls.

"Okay, we're set up here." she called. "I hate to break up the mother's meeting but are you two ready to jack in?"

IC: Rogue Agent O?Connor
Alleyway/Park, Mega City

O?Connor sidestepped the kick to the stomach easily enough, but just barely dodged the one to the face. He yanked his head back just in time to evade it. This put him slightly off balance, and it took a moment to steady himself. He would love to grab the opponent and turn him into another clone, but the Agent was too skilled. O'Connor would never get a grip on him. He tried to hit the Agent with the side of his left hand in the face, a move designed to break his nose.

?Your acrobatics do not impress me. You might have had a promising career as a gymnast, but right now the only thing I see in your future is a bloody death.?

?Hand-to-hand. We attack together.? He whispered to Two.

Two moved out to the left. They both came in at the same time against their target, One coming from the front and Two coming from the left side.

Rip flexed her fingers in their grey, fraying fingerless gloves, ready to do some serious typing.

"Ladies, this evening I'm zapping you to downtown Megacity." she started, hands hovering over the multiple keyboards like a deranged organ player. "Far as I know, Ghost'll be there. Maybe some other guys. You're going to come out in the room below them."

Quickly, Rip started to type. The computer screens flickered and danced greenly, showing where in the Matrix they were headed. Her finger paused over the 'enter' key.

"Any questions?"

He wanted to ask if she wanted anything from the sweet shop, but knew that was a dangerous road to go down. If reminded of the sugary confectionaries available in the Matrix, compared to the mush that passed for grub in Zion and aboard the hoverships, it could grow into a psychosis of wanting to go back for good.

That was the sort of guano that led to Cypher going bad aboard the Nebbakanezzer(sp?).
"No questions, Honey. Do it."

He waited for the mental surge of jacking in.

Rip

With gusto, Rip jabbed at the 'enter' key. Her crewmates' bodies jerked slightly as they jacked in, then were still. And Rip was left, essentially alone, on the Last Bolt. If she was honest with herself, Rip hated being left behind when they were on a mission. She didn't miss the Matrix, seeing that constant danger of death wasn't really her thing, but when she was alone, every scrape or rattle of the ship was instantly transformed into the sound of approaching Sentinels.

Putting her fears to the back of her mind, Rip donned her headset (Livi note: Think WW2 era chunky headphones plus talky thing) and waited for White and Forty-Seven to arrive.

The feeling was like being drunk. Drunk as in what a glass of water goes through, not the 'paint the town red' variety.
Once he regained sentience, he stood in a white room of infinite size. He nodded over at White, wondering if he realised just how well he blended into the White Room. It was eerie; just a pair of disembodied hands and a shaggy head.

Forty-Seven put a finger to the earpiece he now wore, and pulled a pair of plastic shades from the breast pocket of the black suit he now wore.
He felt different the moment they dimmed the view. His smile turning into a thin horizontal line across his stony face.

"Princess? We're in the White Room. Arm me."

"My name," the operator spat acidly, "Is Rip."

Honestly. It didn't matter that she was one of the most talented Operators in Zion, whenever Rip was on the Last Bolt it was always Princess with Forty-Seven. It made her sound like some Barbie-obsessed four-year old. It had really started to irritate her when newly-freed rebels had assumed it was her alias.

A few second's furious typing resulted in the racks of weapons rushing towards Forty-Seven, almost knocking him off his feet, passing within inches of his nose.

"Your guns, slaphead." she said sweetly.

In spite of getting into character, Alex couldn't help but grin. The black weapon-laden racks sped past like an express train, then snapped to a halt, with the guns swinging on their vitual straps or clattering on their shelves.

"Ooh yeah." He breathed, flexing his neck. "Now that's what I'm talking about."

And like always, the ones he wanted were right in front of him: Heavy-calibre 20-clip Baller handguns that went under each armpit. A P90 personal assault weapon, that slung over his shoulder.
He wasn't knowingly going into combat, so he ignored the rocket launcher for the moment.

"Cheers, Babe."

IC: Kyle Rogers

Kyle tossed and turned in his cot on the Forlorn Hope . The nightmare was always the same:

It was the same heist they'd done a thousand times before. J. tapped into the abilities they'd discovered, what Kyle now understood to be the subconscious knowledge of the falsehood of the Matrix, and with a single bound was on top of the arch at the bank's entrance. Two more leaps, and he was on the roof. He gave the signal, tossing a coin onto the ground.

Kyle had attuned his hearing after months of pulling superhuman heists with his brother. No one else would have heard the coin fall, but Kyle had. That was his cue. He pulled on his black ski mask, Terrorist style, and slipped into the bank. He bent the rules of the Matrix again, running to the teller faster than humanly possible. "Alright, honey. You know the Drill. Hand over the money, and no one gets hurt. And you'd do well to keep your hands off that 'silent alarm' button. I'd hate for the cops to come and find a bullet through your pretty little forehead."

"Bro, we got problems. Baby's comin' sooner than I expected,," J. said through the headset to Kyle's cellphone. "I'll do what I can, but you better hurry the Hell up if you wanna see the birth of your niece." Any idiot monitoring these calls would have known that that was code for <Hurry up, the cops are here> or at the very least realized that J. was a father of thousands of kids.

"I warned you," Kyle pulled the trigger.

"But I d-," the teller said as her face was puntured by a bullet.

The first time had ben a blur to Kyle, but as it replayed in his head over and over, Kyle began to sort out what happened. The glass doors shattered as a man in a buisiness suit with sunglasses and a drawn pistol entered the building. All but a few of the other customers had fled by now. "Mr. Rogers," The man said, "We have a file on you. You should have told the proper authorities about your discovery sooner. You would have been more highly rewarded than any robbery could possibly pay."

"Well," Kyle started, pulling his pistol out of the window to where it could be of more use, "It started when..." He stopped as he looked past the agent to see his brother fall to the ground. If the gunshots he had faintly heard in the background hadn't killed J., he knew the fall had.

"Yes," the Agent said, not looking, but apparently well aware of what Kyle was watching, "Your brother was rather uncooperative, and his destruction became necessary. You're attempting to throw off a rather delicate balance, Mr. Rogers, and it's my job to prevent that."

Kyle had heard enough. He brought his pistol to bear on the agent, emptying the chamber. The agent blurred as Kyl'es bullets whizzed into the night sky. The Agent brought his gun to bear and pulled the trigger. Kyle watched helplessly as the bullet careened towards his forehead.
He woke with a start just before the bullet blasted his brains out. The only part of the dream that didn't correspond with recent history. As it really happened, one of the bystanders who'd chosen not to leave was a Rebel who had tackled Kyle, firing at the Agent to buy them time. He'd taken him to a getaway vehicle and presented him with the Red Pill/Blue Pill choice. Kyle, of course, chose the Red Pill, which wound him up eventually on the Forlorn Hope.

He left his quarters, realizing just how late it was. He saw Hondo already logged in. " Mornign Shamus, sorry I overslept. What's the story today?"

Katie walked through a run down street behind a row of shops, her hands in the pockets of her hooded top. Numerous thoughts flowed through her ?mind?. The oracles disappearance, where was she now? The agents, The note. She was just an average program, why would the oracle trust her with that sort of information? Her previous bodyguard Seraph would have been the more sensible choice, well if she had not dismissed him. Katie didn't know the exact reason he left, but she was determined to find out. She could really use his help

"Now if I was Seraph...where would I go..."

She thought to herself. She knew that Seraph used to serve another. A ruthless arrogant program known as the merovingian. She shuddered at the name, but at this moment he was the only program with any of the answers to her many questions. And if Seraph was there, that too would be a bonus. Picking out the PDA from her jeans pocket, she looked up the merovingians hotspot, a restaurant and club named Club Hel. She was only a few blocks away, so she made her way there. Hoping that she would get the answers she craved, and make it out without being deleted
