Archaeologists and biologists have been doing research for some time, and have arrived at stunning conclusions.

Students of history are no doubt familiar with the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Included amongst these wonders was a large statue known in antiquity as the Colossus of Rhodes. This statue was "constructed" around the year 280 BC in the city of Rhodes.

Traditional scholarship, based on lack of knowledge, maintained that the Colossus of Rhodes was destroyed in an earthquake only a few decades after its completion.

It is now known with absolute certainty that this is utterly false. Analysis of previously untranslated records combined with DNA analysis has proven the following mind-exploding facts:

1. The Colossus of Rhodes was NOT a statue.
2. The Colossus of Rhodes came alive in 226 BC and destroyed Rhodes.
3. The Colossus of Rhodes was a bronze and iron prison, entrapping a 107 foot tall giant.
4. Most shocking of all - the giant within the Colossus of Rhodes is ONE AND THE SAME as the giant in the STATUE OF LIBERTY.

Allow me to reiterate: Colossus of Rhodes = Statue of Liberty.

The newly translated records indicate that a large giant was frequently spotted around the Mediterranean area for several centuries prior to the 200's BC. The giant would attack human settlements with glee. It was in the year 280 that a scheme was devised by a warrior known as Tobiathica of Athens. Soldiers managed to knock the giant unconscious with a well aimed catapult shot to the head. They then entombed the beast in a shell of iron and bronze. In their arrogance, they put the creature on display in the Mandraki harbor.

A few short decades later, the Colossus of Rhodes came to life, throwing off its bronze shell into the seawaters below. It then attacked Rhodes without mercy. When traders came upon the devastation the following day, they assumed the damage had come from an earthquake. This erroneous report was believed by many for centuries. Now, the truth is known.

What the giant did between 226BC and and its new entrapment in America is not known. There is speculation that it was in hibernation for a majority of this period, but that it did grow about 50 feet in height.

This shocking revelation shows us a horrifying reality: The Statue of Liberty/The Colossus of Rhodes is immortal.

When it was first realized that the Colossus of Rhodes was a living giant, many assumed it was a different giant, some giant of the same species. Early DNA results puzzled the scientists working on the case, at first they assumed perhaps the Colossus of Rhodes was father to the Statue of Liberty, but then they realized the truth...that the Colossus of Rhodes and the Statue of Liberty are in fact the very same giant.

For those who doubt the conclusions, do you think it is a coincidence that a Wikipedia article on the Colossus of Rhodes (not yet updated with all the new facts) states: "The design, posture and dimensions of the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor are based on what the Colossus was thought by engineers in the late 19th century to have looked like. " Um...yeah, I think when you entomb a giant two times IT'S GOING TO LOOK FAIRLY SIMILAR EACH TIME.
