Well, I miss the book group so much, I was hoping to get your thoughts on 'the Joiner King' by Troy Denning. I'm sure Ryan read it, but not sure about the rest of you.

Overall, I enjoyed it, though I'm not sure what relevance R2's memories of Anakin and Padme have to do with it.. maybe that will come in the second book of this series. It was a bit disorienting in places, but had some nice surprising twists and turns. I also enjoyed the rapport between Juub, Han, and the mean Ewok dude.

Discussion, anyone? I sure do miss the book meetings :(

    Cheers,

    Ian

Yeah, I miss the book group, too.

We need to get something going again, though.

I read Joiner King and thought it was okay. This whole Dark Nest trilogy will be fairly safe, though, with the only real good stuff being the RotS revelations, wrapping up loose ends from the NJO, and setting up the Legacy era stories and characters.

    Hope all's well in H-town!
