I think it would be great if he put Indy in the middle of like the 60's revolutions in Africa or something like that. The end of the imperial colonial period, and have him search for something very controversial during our time. Something that has to do with Christianity, Islam and Judaism, but obviously still try to make it fun and not too overt.
i don't know who the antagonists can be, maybe like the colonial powers, the brits, the french etc... Maybe in the middle of Algiers or something, i dont know, i think it would be niec to see something like that, Indy working with the revolutionaries rather than the Colonial powers.

 

I don't think Indy 5 looks likely because we haven't heard any developments on if they will make it or not

A Genndy Indy Jones cartoon thing would be cool in-between films.

 

How about an object from the tomb of the First Emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi? That would have Indy in the east, possibly meeting up with Short Round again, AND he gets to fight Mao's red guards...And there would be kung fu...

 

I think Atlantis might be a little too cliche (but then again so was the Holy Grail.) Something with the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or the Lighthouse of Alexandria could be interesting. I'm just not sure how to infuse those ideas with danger or to make them sought after objects.

I like it. I'm sold. An older Shortie would be just the thing; he could teach Mutt some kung fu moves, for starters!

 

Mutt and Short Round teaming up could be the next Rush Hour! Awesome. I'd love to see Short Round return. It might also be cool to have Indy finally acquire the Treasure of the Peacock's Eye.

 

The mcguffin should be the fertility idol from Raiders so that Indy can say "there is nothing that you posses that I cannot take away," to Belloq.
