Okay, took me a while, but I got the Kenner Luke pics.

Hey everybody! I just began making icons not too long ago and as a Luke fan I want to make plenty of him. Does anyone have any specific requests (with a picture!) for Luke icons?

*gives a hug* I know what you mean. I made the mistake of reading one where Wedge dies. Since then I avoid any fic that involves my favourites dying.

Lol, I guess my fashion sense is a little screwed over cause I happen to like that yellow jacket - not that I would wear it mind. I'm a huge pilot fan so I really love seeing Luke clad in the orange flightsuit, but I'm going to have to say the tan rebel jumpsuit is my favorite outfit. It's closely followed by the Jedi outfit and come on the Farmboy attire is just too adorable that it deserves a mention.

If it's what I think, I still badly want to hear it. You're going to have to record it for me one of these days Dew!

Probably the same reason as to why Han's parka looked blue when it was in fact brown. The lighting at the time of the filming messed with the colours, so that might be the reason.

 

It's a pretty sweet vintage though, isn't it?

I'm tempted in getting my money for Medicom's UU Luke, that looks so realistic and awesome...

 

I also got a Kenner X-Wing, Kenner version of Luke's snowspeeder, and the Kenner Dak.

I just noticed there are 3 Luke's in the picture I took with the Kenner version of him riding the TaunTaun.

 

I want to see that X-Wing and Snowspeeder!

 

The X-Wing has a broken wing(I have to fix it0 and I have to dig out the snowspeeder, but I'll show you as soon as I can.

They look awesome Jams.

 

I got a good deal on them. It came with the Luke, plus a bunch of other stuff, plus another '77 Falcon(though my brother stole it) for $20.

 

Why are they tan looking?

 

They're old, but mostly I think it's just the lighting. My room is an off-white and I think that on top of the reflection off my brown desk to the left I was using for lighting probably is causeing the tan effect.

 

Well, when you look at them do they appear tanned? Cause I'm thinking it might be due to the material they were made in and frankly, when you watch the movies, especially ANH during the space combat against the Death Star, the X-Wings do look a bit brownish due to the lightning. Or maybe it's not the movies, but the pictures that I've seen from the scene that give off that colour.

 

I'm thinking it's the material because I'm looking at the '77 Falcon that I gave to my brother(since I had 2 ot them. ) and it too has a bit of a tanned hue to it. It's got a base of grey, but a bit of a brown tint to it. It cold just be dirty too.
