Ok who is bringing Epic Duels?

 

Count me in - I love the MoS. Haven't been there in a couple years. It's pretty easy to get to from the T. Science Park on the green line, then its about a 2 or 3 block walk.

I would offer to drive, but I think Carrie would shoot that idea down, given the luck I had last time I drove, using my zen navigation.

Actually, I'm a tentative "in." I'm getting back from Virginia Tuesday night, and my wife might want to spend the weekend with me. However, I doubt it - if anything she'll be annoyed I came home so soon.

as for epic duels, i can certainly bring that along. especially if we're hanging out at roseana's after. that would be the perfect ending to such a day

I know the meet is a while away, but could people post if they plan on coming to my place afterward? I want to get an idea of how many people are coming so I can warn my floormates and have enough refreshments/snacks for everyone.

New to all of this, but wanted to pass on some ideas for you. I agree that Mystic Seaport is worth visiting, and a similar type place is Sturbridge Village. Also 2 other things i've done recently that are fun: Camp Paintball near Quincy, MA, and deep sea fishing out of Gloucester. I know you can do the fishing out of several places - that's just where i went. And Camp Paintball is cool because if you get a large enough group together (i think it's about 40) you can have the place to yourself - they even let us make up our own games. And for those that worry about it - it doesn't hurt, but to be on the safe side - i recommend going when it's a little cooler out - then you can wear extra layers for padding.

Good news: on Tuesday I will find out if we can get in for cheap / free. Knowing people on the inside really is a good thing!

 

On saturday the train gets at the south attleboro station at 11.30. Which means we get to south station around 12.30 The one before that is at 9 so I don't know if people would rather do the museum thing at 1 or 10. Thoughts?

 

I work until noon on Saturday, so I can't make it to the museum before 1pm.

 

1 is good for me.
Plus it says 1pm right down there.
