We're not vicious, we just don't like to be reminded that we are the older half of the group...with me being the oldest.

Peace...just no more comments about age...my daughter is older than all the guys...well, except for mar. He's a month older than her.

 

Well, no, see, I've already got this piece of paper on my wall which says, in effect, "Réka is done with college and doesn't have to go back." (Well, ok, so it doesn't say "Réka", because that's not my real name, but whatever.) In other words, I don't want to be college age anymore. But I refuse to consider the proposition that I might have traveled over an area of high altitude, generally meant as a metaphor for the highest a person can achieve in life, and that therefore I am now traveling towards areas of ever-lower altitudes, generally meant as a metaphor, not (as it might seem logical, if it's taken on its own) for having it easy, but for being in some sort of decline. (The latter sentence can be summarized more succintly as "Over WHAT hill?!? I didn't see any hill. Did you see a hill...?" C.f. my post to that effect in the poll which opened this entire can of wiggly creatures [Lumbricus terrestris].)

 

I'm being smart and staying away from this thread for a bit...
