Abq Meeting Agendas

This is where we can post what we want to have discussed at our meetings. First and foremost, we need to decide on a date for our next one. Our first meeting (which I missed, gosh darnit) was on May 17th, 2002. Since we're small, I think meeting only once a month is sufficient. Our next meeting should be on a Sunday, since no one has problems with Sundays, and later in the month of June. This can be our first 'official' meeting since the first one didn't have enough people in attendance. (Again, I am sooooooo sorry!)

 

I'll be gone on June 5-9 to Houston.

 

That's fine, Twilek, I was hoping for the meeting to be towards the end of June. Possibly the 30th, which will be a Sunday.

Okay, about rides. Some people do not have their own vehicles and would need someone to get them and take them to the meeting place. Most of us, though, live in the NE Heights and trips to the Westside are...long. If you need a ride, let us know, maybe I can help arrange something.

Anyway, the Southwest rep Elan-Rai says that once we're official, our messageboard will have the tag 'Mos Alba' on it in the directory. Woohoo!

After 5pm? I was hoping for a bit earlier than that, but c'est la vie. If anyone else has no problems with 5pm, of course.

 

my mom can drive me if its before 4:00, but i'll need a ride if its at 4 or later.

 

Rintor can only do it past 5, and you'd need a ride past 5. Would you feel comfortable posting your whereabouts (quadrant or cross streets) so we can try to arrange a ride?

Ok, considering this is the agenda topic, what is on our agenda? By the time of this meeting we will have already done our group viewing probably 2 weeks beforehand, keep in mind. So we'll probably think of more things by then.

I think some topics that should be discussed are:
1. What ever else might be required to become official.
2. Deciding an official meeting place
3. Official activities (whatever they may be)
4. What's required for membership (If nothing are we keeping a roster somewhere with everyone's name/e-mail info)
5. Picking a logo
6. What to do about an official website (who will maintain/where will it be hosted)

I think it would be cool for you to bring your Action Figure Watch updates to the meetings, and clue us in on how cool your collection is. Well, all of you for that matter.

What do you have in your Star Wars collection.

And, to get to know everyone, I would love to see somethings about the EU brought up, just to see if we can go anywhere with that.

And a Star Wars book of the month. Whether it be a novel or a just a 'guide'.

 

Forgive my ignorance, what's this EU you're talking about?
