Ohio Meeting Up at Celebration 3

So who's all going to C3 from the Northwest Ohio area? Would those that are going like to get together at some point?

Right now I know that myself, Fitzhume, Jade-Walker and Moff_D. Any others coming?

Any good times/places to get together?

 

I know that Jedi Mom is going as well (check her out at the survey thread).

How about meeting up Thurs night for the showing of ANH?

 

I'm up for whatever. I'm bouncing off the walls right now after this weekend. The smile hasn't left my face yet from this weekend.

 

That could work. That starts at 10:00PM in the 500 Ballroom (after the Opening Ceremony). If we find that we can't get in there we can always head someplace else.

I missed that Cor-AlGelkar was coming. That makes at least 5!

 

My daughter and I will be coming on friday for sure. Trying to swing thursday pm as well. I'll let you know. We would love to join all for ANH!!!

What is the deal with meeting up with other OH501st? I should be bringing my armor there but wasn't sure if there would be some people getting together to troop around the con? 1st Con for me and I haven't been keeping up with the forums as of late. Been busy with the armor and some other things.

Most of the 501st is going to be working the convention, actually. They may even be still looking for volunteers. So (if you want to) find the volunteer thread on the CIII board on Ohio Garrison. Then follow the link. We will be picking shifts soon, so don't dally.

If you don't want to work it, then there are others that won't either. Coyote, for instance. Then there is a crew that won't be volunteering, but will be working the R2 builders area. Check out the CIII board and you'll get more info on this.

 

I'm one of those that probably won't make it due to volunteering stints. I am working GenCona nd Official Pix, not to mention the Jedi Assembly fan table as well. I'll be lucky if i get to see my friends and family that whole weekend

 

Its a pretty late one--doesn't start until 30 min after the opening ceremonies. I don't think that you'll be needed much at that time by the volunteer groups.

 

Reagan and I have a change in plans and will be coming on Thursday and will probably leave that evening. Let me know where the group will be hooking up if in fact we are.

 

Actually Jade, I'm a floater 4/21 from 3:30-8:30 and 4/22 from noon-4pm. I'll be helping mainly in the autograph area. Looking forward to it.

Just hoping that my armor will be modified enough to be comfortable to be walking around alot in it. Only have a few days left.

 

Make sure to bring along all kinds of tools--Dremmel, duct tape, hot glue gun, etc. The you can make adjustments.

You guys are meeting at the ANH screening...that's a possibility!

I'll be working the FF table, Saturday (1-2pm) and Official Pix most of the day.
