I'm heading off for a Christmas break with the family this weekend so I probably won't be posting for a while. So I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone here a safe and happy Christmas.

A lot of people, including some in the Fan Force, are not going to have the best Christmas this year, so I hope in this season of joy you'll keep them in your thoughts and offer what support you can. Remember its not all tinsel and turkey :)

I've gone through some highs and lows this year, as have we all. This forum has been a fantastic place to stay in touch with old friends, make some new friends and to have a whole bunch of fun along the way. I'm looking forward to next year.

Merry Christmas to all......I hope you have a safe and happy one this year, despite the hardships and sadness that some will be enduring at this time of the year and all year around.

I believe that we should be thinking of others hardships and loneliness ALL year around, not only at christmas - for those things don't disappear for 364 days of the year. I know that we have them in the back of our minds all of the time, but if we think about them and seek to help make the world a better place through selflessness, caring and not being money and war mongers, we are paving the way for our future generations to be more caring toward each other. Always remember, no matter how hard you have it, somebody out there has it harder - yet they still manage to smile through it all. It's all about being a survivor rather than a victim. (I've been doing too much philosophy this year, huh?) :D

    Just a thought.......

    :)

NW you want snow, I can arrange it.

I will fly you up here in Mid february with six inches of snow on the ground and temps of minus twenty degrees farenheit.

thats minus thirty and below for you Aussies.

So before you want snow remember you need cold weather to keep it there.

But it does warm up to snow. Around zero to minus five.

if I could afford to go o/s Beez, I'd be there in a flash!!! Never, ever in my entire life experienced cold like that - never, ever experienced snow - and while I'm studying no chance of experiencing it either.
ah well.....a girl can dream of such things....and remain being called Winter at all times of the year...

The boys and I had a quiet day, went to my aunties for lunch, and came home for tea - which they loved 'cos they got to play with all their new stuff. :)

Lochie had me up at 2.30am, after walking through the lounge to go to the toilet and seeing the father xmas had been....I didn't have the heart to get angry with him, not on christmas morning, even if it was 2.30am.

So, all in all, a long day, but a quiet one, which is just the way I like it. I got some lovely stuff from my family, and some beautiful stuff from my fox.

    Me a happy girl.

    :D

(watched the 'feed the world' special on boxing day, and that brought the true meaning of xmas back home to me....20 years on, it's still all happening in parts of the world and we need to do something about it. The tears were once again rolling out of my eyes watching the images, and wishing that I had the money to help out....maybe in a few years when I graduate I will sponsor a child again - just to make a small difference in one childs life)

Totally agree Nawara, am trying to get Cassies school to sponser a child instead of raising money for toys for the school. One 'casual' day a year would feed, clothe and educate a child for a year.

I got a new Lightsaber.. and the glow is from the saber! Justifier is teh best husband in teh world! [face_love]

Nice Lightsabre AD, nice Darth Vader pic in the background.

I gave BJ a LEGO Millenium Falcon, a Slave 1 ship and a LEGO snowspeeder.

My boys gave me a light sabre, but not as good as yours AD.
