More Mods/RSAs for the UK

In the past few days there has been a dilemma over in the FF:UK general forums. Our Rep has decided to take some time off and has left us in the care of another Mod.

In my opinion, this isnt an ideal situation. The mod who is looking after us is from another time zone! Now, I have nothing at all against this Mod who does a very good job monitoring the JC and his respective FF. But, wouldnt it be better if another one or two RSAs were appointed from the UK? There are a few hardcore posters who have been with the JC for over 2 years and the FF since its start who would be more than willing to take up this role.

I apologise if I am stepping on anyones toes here but I just think things need to be put in motion to appoint more FF:UK mods.

I fully support this. I also feel it's necessary.

Mods from our time zone are few and far between. I feel that FF and the JC can only benifit from the addition of more.

 

This is something that should have been done ages ago. There is no reason why there should aonly be one UK mod. We have six forums and loads of posting at 9.00am GMT till 5.00pm GMT.

I would like to har a good argument why we can't have more than one UK mod.

 

And due to our Mods job commitments he cant be online a lot of the time during the day.

Does the UK FanForce have City Reps?

 

Uh...not quite sure...I think Commander Antilles might be out city rep, but I'm not sure. He';s the only one of us who is a moderator anyway.

 

Well, you got South England and North England. I know that CA is your RSA and for the same time also the CR for southern England.

But what about North England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Aren't there any CR's?

Probably it would be the best to choose one CR for each region. If there is any problem on the boards, the CR can report to the RSA and he will fix it.

Yes Cass! A CR for Scotland would be perfect. Would there be any problem on the boards or a meeting is planned you could report to CA and Voilà!

 

I talked to MysterySith about this tonight, and things are proceeding.

 

I am looking into it now, since Joanzia has stepped down from FF Global Support, it may take a while. Just be patient and I will do everything I can for you.

 

MysterySith is already Global Support (promoted to assist Joanzia). He's a Manager, and can do pretty much anything that we need done around the FanForce boards. I don't know if we'll add to the Global Support team or not, but the RSA's will all pitch in and help where we can.

 

Every FF RSA should now be ready if there is anything we can do to help MysterySith.

 

I'm pleased to see that progress is being made.
