    From what I can tell, alphabetically by category, then by board. For example, mine looks like this:

    Fanfic Archive Reviewers, Administration
    JC Communications, Administration
    Fan Fiction Stories, Fan Activities
    Fan Fiction Writers' Resource, Fan Activities
    The Senate Floor, JC Community
    Expanded Universe Miscellaneous, Beyond the Films

    Not sure about the last one, but the rest fit the pattern.
