Observations upon meeting FF Sweden members at Celebration 4

* Swedes really like muffins.
* Swedes have really good English accents - I'm told this is because it's practically the same language. Agree/disagree?
* All Swedes love Darth Vader and his sheep-shearing habits.
* Swedes learn a lot more Star Wars drinking songs at their FanForce meetings than the rest of us, apparently. They are also good at singing loudly. I was ridiculously hoarse yesterday morning from all the drunken singing at the Westin.
* Swedes get to go to twice as many conventions as the rest of us because they travel to both the US convention and the European one. No fair.
* Swedes like to take mass transit even when going somewhere as far away as Disneyland, which is cool.
* Swedes gave me two Swedish coins and now I am going to keep them forever and ever as a souvenir.

 

Maybe these observations do not apply to Swedes in general, but they definitely apply to the FFS:ers I know who went to C.IV.
I was startled the first time I heard Obi Anne speak English in her Irish accent (due her having spent a year living in Ireland).

.. and don't get me started on the drinking songs.

 

What do you mean not all Swedes are alike?

I want to go back to CIV already.

 

I'm still a little hoarse. It's been two days. Way too much singing.

I never heard the Obi-Wan song before.

 

Hanging out with you Swedish guys (and girls) was a blast!

Hopefully I'll see you at CE as well.
