This may have been covered, but, I was just watching AOTC and it was at the scene where Obi-Wan is looking down at the clone troopers boarding ships on Kamino.
Now, correct me if I am wrong, but, is that not the same piece of music from the Nazi rally in Last Crusade?
    I swear it is....

No. It is not the same music.

P.S. The music in that scene was all throughout The Phantom Menace. It's the Trade Federationt theme.

Anybody notice the little electric guitar bit on track 3. I tabbed it out for anyone interested. Enjoy!Disclaimer: this represents my interpretation of the piece. This is
    inteded for private study.

Guitar Fill for "Zam the Assassin and The Chase through Corsucant"
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Composed and Conducted by John Williams

A little bit of real Star Wars guitar. Nope, this is not a
transcription of orchestral work for guitar. Rather it is a little
electric guitar fill that finds its way into said piece on the
ATOC soundtrack. I'm not very good at tabbing, But here it is for
anyone interested. The actual rhythm is not represented here, but
you can listen to the album to figure it out (or bring your axe to
    the movie ;>).
    Cheers, have fun.

Anyone know what happened to the supposed Moby/trip hop music from the club scene? I guess many were duped in the speculations, including me. I thought for sure there would have been music there.

It may have been better without it though, I wasn't sure if JW could pull off another song as good as the cantina theme, and I certainly hated Jedi Rocks, so maybe it was better that way. I loved that scene and think that GL did great and something he has never done before with the buildup and the girls checking out Anakin.

Okay, I know I am slack and I haven't read most of this thread (just get AG Sat already!!) but i just wanted to bring something up.

In track 2 (Zam the assassin) there is a section between 4:20 and 4:55 with earthy/primative sounding percussion that sounds JUST LIKE the music from the first fight sequence from Crounching Tiger Hidden Dragon (the bit where the young chick is trying to escape with the Green Dragon).

Has anyone noticed this? Is it intentional??

Kick me if it has been mentioned already...

I was just listening to Across the Stars, and I do believe it's one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard. If Duel of the Fates is TPM's legacy, Across the Stars is ATOC's.

I thought the opening to track 12 plays during Amidala's confession of love to Anakin...

As for the marching music, it wasn't completely cut out. You can hear some of it when Anakin takes control of the Reek for the 2nd time.

"The Duel of Fates" on Tatooine.

Another meaning of "The Duel of Fates" is who would be Anakin's master: Qui-Gon or Obi. The replay of "The Duel of Fates" while Anakin is on the swoop bike signifies the interior duel, but this time Qui-Gon can only echo.

TPM: Qui-Gon and his padawan v. the Dark Side

AOTC: Qui-Gon (only an echo) and his padawan v. the Dark Side. Obi is nowhere in sight, literally and figuratively.

I like that waltzy music heard during Obi-Wan's Kamino visit. Why didn't George use the music on track 12? I thought it was great battle music.

"As for the marching music, it wasn't completely cut out."

Not but the best part was the BEGINNING of the march, which WAS cut, in turn, made me rather upset, because it would have really set the mood of the upcoming sequence.

I was gonna say, why the hell did Lucas not use the Arena music from the soundtrack? It's certainly better than the music used. The music that was used was too happy :)

AotC has the worst collection of music during the movie so far :(

Weird...the AOTC is probably the best, yet, in the movie it is what you'd call "hacked."

I, too, would've liked to hear more of the marching music but I thought it didn't go well with the Arena. I thought it would've been better during the large battle scenes with all the clones.
