ON *Official* Harry Potter Thread (warning thread may contain spoilers)

I am trying not to be optimistic at the moment, basically one do not want to get my hopes up and two I know what has been cut from the book

 

I treat it like LOTR, something different from the books. Otherwise I get upset at the stuff cut and in the wrong place.

Although I'm still trying to get over POA, too many changes between the first two movies and that one. I'm too much of a continuity freak.

 

Oh I am fine with the cutting out things really, I mean I liked POA the best although I think should have had more on the marauders. But movie wise it was the best. Just I want to see how they have done it first because I know what has been taken out I am doubtful on how they are going to do certain things.

 

what have they cut, all i know is that the dursleys are cut and probably lots more since the book is so long, i'm excited to see it though, from the trailer it looks pretty cool, we aren't too fond of the beuxbatton costumes though

 

Well the beginning is in, but the next bit with the Dursley's it out which means they have probably cut the burrow out as Mrs Weasley isn't in it, and neither is Charlie. Don't think Percy is either. Actually pretty sure he isn't.

SPEW, I believe has been taken out. As has Dobby and Winky.

 

yeah after the first bit i think it starts at them going to the world cup, how can they cut winky out? oh well, no big loss over the spew the tasks look pretty cool and the flying carriage

 

I did read how they were cutting her out, just can't remember.

 

well, I'll be glad that they cut out SPEW, Hermione was just annoying with that. I agree though, how can they cut out Winky? She's got a pretty important role.

We saw the Trailer on the BIG screen... before Sky High... Looks fantastic to me... I LOVED the way they showed the Characters getting older in all the different movies... Brilliant...

 

When did you see that because that trailer was only released at 9am this morning

 

Saw it on the Friday last week...

 

Should be a different one as it only premiered this morning

 

I think the one with them aging is the one that was on the American site. Over half the preview is them aging, and then quick flashes of the movie.

 

Oh god no... you can tell by my description it's not the same one...

 

That was the teaser trailer, that was released ages ago, I can't remember when.

Uk site currently has that and the first international trailer, today's is the second international trailer.

Well.. maybe it's been out a while... but it was Awsome to see on the big screen!... screw the little computer screen!!

 

loved the new trailer, it looks awesome, didn't like how sirius in the fire looked though

 

I know, seriously unimpressed with Sirius lol

It took me a couple of times to figure out it was Sirius, then I was squinting (this is on a full screen version) and went by his voice

 

i thought it would be a floating head, they seem to be portraying beau battons as an all girls school

 

I think it was supposed to be a floating head because everyone I know didn't expect him to look like that. Actually one compared him to a fire demon

 

when they describe that guys head in the fire at the begining of goblet he eats a piece of toast and everything, can't do that if your head is shaped from coals i can't believe they got that so wrong

 

What like Hermione's dress you mean?

 

yeah how do they go from being blue robes to pink ruffles

 

Colour blind? Can't read?

Mind you, the Sirius one? ermm they got very confused is the only explanation I can think of
