Memph, TN Official Name the Memphis FanForce Thread

Even though we have to have 3 meetings before we become an "official" FanForce chapter, we are mere days away from our first meeting. So, with that in mind...we need to be thinking of what we want our chapter to be named. I've thought of one that sounds pretty cool to me...but then again...I sit around and play with bubble wrap 2 to 3 times a week. Anyway, what do you guys think of "Delta Force"?...ya know, Memphis delta?
Come up with some of your own and post 'em on this here thread...

 

That sounds pretty cool. I like that. I just don't want a cheesy name like "Ewok Elvis'" of "Graceland Gungans." It does need to be a creative name."Delta Force" is cool.

PS: What time are you on the radio Steja? I can pick up the station pretty good!!

 

Yeah, I don't want anything dorky. Remember when Memphis was trying to get an NFL team and they come up with "Memphis HoundDogs"? I'm on from 5:30am (AARRGGHH) until noon.

OK, I admit it....I was thinking Elvis when I thought of a name for us:

All The King's Jedi (A takeoff of "All the King's Men")

I like that better than the other name I thought of.....The Jungle-Room Jedi!!!

 

Those are pretty good, Tim...what about this one: "Suspicious Mind Trick"

 

Hmmm, I can't think of anything cool. How about the Grand Funk Force? Yeah it made me laugh too. Delta Force is cool with me.

 

Or how about "Jar-Jar's Jailhouse Rockers?"

Speaking of Robes anyone know how to make some Jedi robes?

 

I do. Unfortunately, my costuming never involves using a pattern. I either make things way too big, or too small.

 

How much would you charge to make me a set. I'd prefer a little to big verses a little to small

 

Qui-Gon, the more I think about it...the more I like "Suspicious Mind Trick", too. That could be our back-up.

QGT made me a Jedi costume for Halloween a couple of years ago. I could scan a pic if you'd like to see it.

 

Man, I have to get myself a coustume togther!!! But I can't decide what to do. But I can't make anything super hard.

 

Sure I'd love to see it scaned. Hey Chewbracca you should get a wookie costume, that'd be sweet.

 

And extremely hard to make. But they do make fake fur.....

ew, that would be hot to wear. You'd lose weight wearing it, that's for sure.

I vote for Suspicious Mind Trick. OK, I admit it: I'm an Elvis fan. You decloaked me. I was hoping we could find something involving Star Wars, ribs, and the King, but I'm in short supply of ideas right now.

 

I myself am an Elvis fan as well. Long live the King (even if he is dead, which is highly debatable in itself)
