Well Han and Boba's relationship goes back to his smuggling days; its an implied fact how they know each other. Boba was on retainer to Jabba when Han was smuggling for him. So their paths have crossed. Especially if you take the Jabba scene in ANH:SE as canon, but please please do not start a canon battle. Those things get sooo ugly real quick.

 

As long as its not a book then its canon, hahahaha. Just kidding folks.

 

In the Han Solo trilogy they first meet when Boba is looking for Han's girlfriend. He also told Han that his girlfriend died, right before he met Ben and Luke

 

nah no hard feelings.........I added a spoiler warning on the title just incase some people want to remain spoiler free.

and since everyone has continued to speculate and discuss spoilers I found the warning appropriate. So spoil away boyous!
