FF:NZ One Month, One Saga. Woo Hoo!!

I just saw the most amazing thing and i'm sure there are more out there that saw the ad straight after the 70's show tonight not more than 2minutes ago.

Star Wars the original Trilogy Special Edition is coming to TV3. Shown over one month. Not sure the exact dates yet but Woo Hoo.

The ad went on for about 1 minute showing clip after clip of the Trilogy, both original and special edition. Rock On!

There was a BIG ad on just then, after That 70's Show.

All four movies confirmed to be played over a month. Special Editions. Woohoo!

To advertise the Special Editions, they used the full Special Edition trailer, with basically the same voiceover dialogue (just with a few minor adjustments). For Episode I, they used the trailer (first trailer, I think, I can't actually remember).

They said they're "Coming Soon"...

 

I was buzzing, Had to run from the living room to my bedroom, get a connection and type.

September . . . hmmm, that's a long time to wait. I'm thinking that maybe I should go on a 'Star Wars fast' until then.

Yeah now I dont have to buy the damm proper videos and this will be my 2nd viewing of tpm yeah. Any way im glad i dont have to buy the proper videos cause I got over $250 dollars worth of stuff at the comic shop to pay for.

Instead, I keep seeing the short clips. All my non-SW-fan have seen it accept me! Ah, the cruel hand of fate! Why, why!

 

Try watching (or recording) the TV3 afternoon cartoons. I've seen the long advert after the Sabrina cartoon.

I wish the hopeless TV man would finish installing this roof attenna, then I could try video-capturing it. At the moment the noisy reception is too useless.

I wonder what order they are going to show them in, Phantom first or last? Probably last I guess. Go out with a bang.

 

yeah, I think they'll show Menace last, leading up to it with the Trilogy.

should make for an interesting month, assuming theres one movie per weekend. I'll probably become an antisocial worm.

Q. do you think E1 should be reffered to as 'phantom' or 'menace' like 'empire' and 'jedi'? after using 'menace' in the above sentence, I think 'phantom' sounds better, but 'menace' makes more sense.

Yep, "Phantom" sounds much better, as long as it's not confused with "The Phantom" movie.

But "Menace" might get confused with "Dennis the Menace" - then again, some people think that's what Jake Lloyd was.

I'm a Cartoon-a-holic, so I usually try to watch at least a few episodes of every cartoon, but some of them are REALLY dreadful.

I've actually got big thick books all about the Disney animation, the history of Hanna-Barbera, etc. I just wish I could draw.

Animation is probably my third biggest "hobby" ... after computers and Star Wars of course.
