Announcing the 2001 OSWCC Summer Social


When and Where
The Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club Summer Social will be in Akron, OH on Saturday, August 25, 2001. Driving directions can be found by clicking here and entering your departure address. The social will begin and noon and last well into the evening.

Activities
We have several Star Wars related contests and games planned, as well as volleyball and softball. There is a pool available, but there is an extra cost per swimmer of $4. Please bring any items you may want to donate for door prizes and drawings. We will also be giving away our annual proof card, a special CD and various other goodies.



Hotels
If you're planning on staying the night - either Friday or Saturday, here's a couple hotels close by: Holiday Inn - 330-678-0101 Hampton - 330 673-8555. Or ask around - many NE people might have a place to crash for the night.

What to bring
Meat, bread and drinks will be provided. Everyone should bring something with them such as chips, cookies or a covered dish. Please email Chris and let him know what you'd like to bring so we can minimize duplicate items.

Who's invited
Anyone is welcome to attend. Regular members and their immediate families attend at no cost. E-members, and non-member guests are asked to either become full members or donate $5 to help cover costs, respectively.
