Det, MI OT: Shutter Island

Pretty good flick. I soured on it during the buildup because I thought the scene in the trailer and television spots where Michelle Williams' character disappears from DiCaprio's embrace looked way too corny. But my trust in Scorsese paid off. Worth a theater viewing.

 

Not what I thought it was going to be, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I would recommend it, but maybe only as a matinee!

 

Knew it was a matter of time before I got you back on here. And by the way, those matinee prices out in L.A. are normal prices for the rest of us around the country.

 

Yep, you have to go to the before Noon shows....then it's $6.00, otherwise a matinee is still $8.50.

 

I was afraid to see this one after seeing the trailers, they looked so goofy. If you guys liked it, I might check it out!
