It's happened again at Roland Garros, the point in a tennis tournament where I no longer care about who wins the darn thing. Usually happens when all my picks have been eliminated ala The Scud, Leyton, Amelie Mauresmo, and of course, Justine Henin-Hardenne.
    Bugger!
    [face_frustrated]

Also, congratulations to IRL Driver Buddy Rice and car owner Dave Letterman on their Indy 500 victory. Turning left for 180 laps or so can be tough going.

Essendon sucks and my life does at the moment. We are so losing. *sigh* And Brisbane smashed the Demons over the weekend. Arrgh!

I wish I didn't get so worked up over AFL.

    *siiigh*

I'm okay now. What about you?

and i was almost killed for wairing a blue t-shirt on the day of the origin match

Casual, you've created a monster.... mwhahaha!

    - Queensland need Lockyer back. Hodges out. Karmichael Hunt IN.
    - Mark Gasnier: sack him. Willie Mason: sack him. Cut them all. You're cut too, shooshie.
    - Zimbabwe needs to be alienated from all sporting codes.
    - Can Justin Wilson score a podium in his rookie year in CART? Will it be Paul Tracy or Sebastian Bordais as this year's champion? Only 2 races completed and it's looking to be a 2 horse race based on form.
    - Can HRT (read: Skaife) score some more needed points at Barbagello? Can Steve Richards keep his slim championship lead? ANYTHING other than Ambrose winning again, please!!
    - Will there be a major terrorist attack in Athens during the games? I'm afraid so.

Oh, and Marv, I guess I forgot to write in the title of this thread, that people who aren't interested in sport, need not apply. Well, here goes...

You lived in Essendon and you don't support them, Josh? How could you do that?!

As for backing Hawthorn, luigi, nah. I may hate the way my team is heading but I'll stay with it until the ship sinks.

EDIT: Meh, I can't even spell this morning. *depressed*

I wasn't asking you to switch temas :p

That would be a good move, your teams losing so you jump ship to the wooden spooners. :D

Valentino Rossi wins in a VERY close rain affected MotoGP race over the weekend. I'm actually getting interested in the championship again.

Imagine Schumacher deciding to drive for Renault. The Ferraris are still there, and still strong, but the best driver is now in the second-best car. That's what's happening in the MotoGP. Rossi left Honda and is now on a Yamaha, a bike that's 5% behind the Hondas in every way, but the master is still winning races.

And it's going to be very hard for Queensland to win next week, with NSW doing an "Alfie" with Fittler.

Whilst Valentino is the 'shizzle-dizzle', I've still gotta go for Aussie Troy Bayliss. The Duke(Ducati) will come good, just wait and see... The Italians love their bike racing too much to let Honda and Yamaha have all the fun.

I'm so hoping that Freddy's return will be an absolute disaster...
Zero points for originality Gus. [face_shame_on_you]

    Congrats Kahli.

Casual, I am hoping the fact that Lockyer and Prince used to play together works well for Queensland, as Freddy and Kimmorley haven't played together (as much if at all).

Is a Black Sash the highest level in Kung Fu Kahli?
Isn't a Red Sash pretty high up there???

Congratulations on earning your Sash in any case.

Personally, I practice an age old Scottish martial art, which mainly consists of head-butting and kickin'-em while they're down. I've also adapted an American martial art which had it's roots in the mean streets of Compton, LA. Again another simple yet effective strategy, consisting of a whole bunch of 'Yo Mama' jokes, after I'm done with the "Bottom" style kicking.

... and your channeling needs work Neech. :p

Well as a black belt you get to wear black shirt black pants black sash and I have black shoes.

No one has made it to red in the system yet (well one guy but he doesn't want to grade and refuses to do push ups (he is quite a large chap)) so I've no word on the official red sash uniform.

    Euro 2004 has begun...
and England just choked against France.

    they lead 1 - 0 at halftime,
Controlled the match for 90 minutes,
and conceded 2 goals in 3 minutes of injury time.

    Oh by the way,
England hasn't won't anything in soccer since 1966..
    Wonder why!?
