FF:NZ R2 D2, where are you?

For those of us still hunting the Elusive R2 D2 with Holographic leia, May the Force be with us! i think were gonna need it...

 

I got one from the Warehouse. Sitting right here on my desk...

It was the only one that came to that outlet, though, so they are really hard to get.

 

well, as far as I know, there were only 2 stores here that got the assortment which included the R2, and if there was only one R2 per outlet that means there was only 2 R2's in Christchurch....
am I making any sense here? Any way, count yourself lucky that you got one.

 

It's possible there was more than one, but they'd only been in for about an hour and by luck I was going there anyway.

The pegs were full, and it was the only one there.

And it's a really good figure, but it wasn't worth paying hundreds of dollars for like some did on eBay (unless, I guess, if you're a really big collector).

 

I couldnt justify spending that much on a figure.

I found mine at the Warehouse at the Bush Inn Centre. You could try places like the Warehouse at South City and Barrington Mall.

 

so you found yours at bush inn huh?
I figured there were some there, I also found some empty pegs at eastgate so there mustve been one or two there as well.
none of the other warehouses had the R2 assortment.
Hornby just got some in, just the Greedo/han/Jawa/luke assortment.

 

I just saw one the other day at the Warehouse, I didn't realise they were hard to find. I picked it up, and thought 'hey, this thing is dirty, looks like sand has got into the packet' then I clicked that it was meant to be that way. Stupid, huh.
I got the stormtrooper one though, because I've never had one of those. It said on it 'use cold water to make battle damage appear'. I did, but it didn't work. Maybe the water is too warm in the summer . . .the comm tech lines sounded like he had a cold, as well.
