I just hope he does do these esoteric feature length or made-for-tv experimental films! Or whatever he decides to do next.

 

Yeah, I feel a disconnect between his statements of "retiring" or "basically retiring" and his making his own type of weird movies. I hope the last one actually happens.

 

I don't think he will make more movies. I think he is just going to retire.

 

But he gave away the 4 billion from selling Lucasfilm! Now he's gotta start all over again and pitch movies to studios! Poor George.

 

I took his statements about retiring to mean from the business. He can still make movies. That hasn't changed. But. he sold his large corporate empire he helped create. Must be liberating and terrifying at the same time.
