RESIDENT EVIL: ARKHAM HIGH SCHOOL

--Intro--
Welcome everyone to Resident Evil: Arkham High School. The story takes place in a fictional high school in Arkham, a city some Lovecraft readers will recognize. Here is where people go to high school before either attending the Miskatonic University or going abroad. The date is April 17th, 2007. Some research scientists from Umbrella Corp. have heard of the interesting and dubious reputation of neighboring Innsmouth, and are conducting some research for certain top secret things involving a new zombie virus, tentively called "Genesis Viral Agent", a small green liquid that evaporates into a gas upon contact with oxygen, and those who inhale it become deformed zombies. However, unlike the previous zombies, they do retain slight and crude intelligence, although the little there is only ends up twisted with the chemical into hate, creating a stronger and more intelligent group of zombies.

This new agent was being stored in Arkham High due to some contacts that they held there, believing it would be kept safe in a hidden basement in the school. However, when Umbrella Corp. ordered some of the GVA bottles, a mishap caused them to break out during lunch on April 17th. Although the virus died out after two minutes due to its nature of being absorbed by the normal air after about two minutes, the contacts were zombified themselves as well as a majority of the school. Once all the characters are in, the doors and windows mysteriously lockdown. Now, those who managed to survive the agent's effects are locked in the school, and have to hold out long enough against the barrages until help arrives.....

--GM Info--
Alright, with the intro out of the way, let me explain the basics of the game. What's going to happen is we're going to start at 12:00 AM, and go from there. The first part of the game will be to have social interaction with both player characters and soon-to-be-zombiefied NPCs. This is basically building up your character. At 11:05 AM, lunch starts. You're welcome to have a little bit of socialization here, but your character has to be outside the school at 11:26 AM when the outbreak begins. You can either go to the parking lot or a small yard outside the school where students are allowed to simply walk about. Then you should re-enter the school at a time after 11:28 AM when the virus is cleared out of the air. Unless you go to the cafeteria, your zombie contact will be minimal until 11:30 AM when they start moving about the school. If all goes well help should arrive at 5:00 AM the following day. Now everyone will post a time with their posts within a time interval that is begun by the GM. In the start, however, this will be sped up. No interacting with a character before your time or afterwards. Once you reach the end of the time interval, you'll wait until the beginning of the next interval. The survivors and a few NPCs are the only survivors, so you guys are encouraged to meet up together. Keep in mind, however, that until I reveal the way to kill a zombie, they cannot be killed and only knocked out. If you go on insane rampages, I will kill off your character. Keep things realistic. Also, at the start of the outbreak, if you don't move your character outside then he/she will die.

1. No God-Modding, Character Bunnying, etc.
2. Do not surpass the time interval until the GM specifies it's okay to do so.
3. The GM holds the right to kill any character at any time, especially if they attempt something incredibly stupid and don't heed my warnings to turn back. Any character that is without notice of a GM gone for over two weeks, they will be comandeered by the GM, and possibly killed off.
4. Just in general follow what I tell you to do.
5. Do not control any NPCs. At all. If you want a second character, you're welcome to make one.

Personality: Valkrye is usually quiet, and observant. Once someone gets close to her, she is extremely nice, and protective. Most people see her as a violent Gothic girl, or a bully, but she looks out for her friends, and has real concern for people she is close to.

Eye Color: Green

Hair Color: Black

Appearance: Chin-legnth straight black hair, usually dresses simply in a black tank top, jeans, and combat boots. She has a tattoo on her arm of an angelic Sigil, and usually wears little to no makeup, and, like most people from Arkham, she does not tan. She also has many piercings, including five in her left ear, three in her right, a pierced tongue, and a pierced left eyebrow.

Interesting Fact: Valkrye has the Zombie Survival Guide memorized, and sleeps with it under her pillow.

Bio: Valkrye (or Valk, as she is known by her friends) was raised in Arkham. As the adopted child of Dr Herbert West, professor at Miskatonic University, she has extensive knowledge of the workings of the human body (although he hasn't shared his reanimation process with her.) The knowledge of her birth parents is unknown to her, although she suspects that they were from Dunwich. She prides herself on her good grades, (which she gets with barely any effort) and her physical prowice. She started studying a form of martial arts known as Kiao-kiean, in which she holds a black sash. The idea of Kaio-kiean is to end the fight in one blow, which makes it extremely agressive. Her weapon specialization is the Bo Staff.

Gender: Female
Personality: Bright and sweet, she?s a very active girl, friendly and cheerful. A bit vulgar at times (especially when in a bad mood), very open minded, also tends to have crazy mood swings. Misha?s creative, a real artist.

-Appearance-

Eye Color: Nearly black with a blueish hue.
Hair Color: Bleach blond.
Clothing: Slightly baggy black cargo pants, black tight tank top, black headscarf, black converse, silver ring on her right hand, silver necklace with a crescent moon, chain with a guitar pick and two dog tags, black oversized hoodie, has a tiny gem on her nose and a belly piercing.
Interesting Fact: Main vocals in her band, as well as drums. Is stunningly strong and agile for her size.
Bio: Born to a quite numerous French-Canadian family, Michelle (Misha or Chibi for her friends) grew up the youngest of four siblings and number 10 among 19 cousins, not counting aunts and uncles as well.

Always being a very social girl, she didn?t find it hard to make friends when she entered Arkham High. Misha loves animals, especially her beige-white Alaskan Malamute, who is officially the love of her life and even walks her to school, then runs back home, and runs back to school to walk back with Misha.

Michelle firmly does not believe in monsters such as werewolves, vampires or zombies; she however does believe in ghosts and angels (weird as she isn?t catholic).

Bio: growing up he has always been sports oriented, he started playing soccer at age 5 and has been ever since, but lately he has been wondering weather or not he has spent too much time playing soccer, he usually spends he lunches practicing his soccer moves

Interesting Fact: This is Vincent's first day at AHS after transferring from a school in Delaware. His dad recently got a job with Umbrella Corporation.

Bio: Vincent is very smart and has gotten in trouble in the past for being a smart aleck. He is quick to adapt to change, but has taken a low key approach on his first day at his new school. He likes to approach a new situation from all angles and consider every possibility. Vincent is somewhat shy around girls, although a mere friendly glance from a cheerleader can give him the confidence to take on the world. He also considers himself a huge horror film buff.

 

Name: Dmentae Salamander Uay (Foreign)

Gender: Male
Personality: Dmentae is kind, but his family was killed off by the last escape of the toxin, and he is daunted by his past and therefore barely ever cries or smiles because he is too racked up.
Eye Color: Black
Hair Color: Silvery-White (dyed)
Appearance: Tall, slim and attractive. He has a couple of scars from his past encounter with the plague. He wears a black hooded cloak to stay on his own when he needs to think.
Interesting Fact: Dmentae trains in Aikido and hold a sword in his locker to train with after school.
Bio: Dmentae's family was killed by the virus last time it escaped, and he was only young. He is almost always down or in solitude. He began training in Aikido as soon as he was old enough, and has reached and bypassed advanced sword combat. He only really wants a normal life, and is looking for a girl to live out his life with...

Personality: Secretive, quiet and shy until she realizes that a person can be trusted, is always extra careful when given a chance to do something risky, will speak up if some one is offending her, doesnt have many friends she is too shy to go out to parties or social gatherings, most everyone thinks of her as a strange, mean, and mysterious girl. But thats only because they have never exchanged words with her, they just judge her by her appearance and acting, if someone attempts to talk to her she will usually make witty cracks at them and make fun. But that is still only surface talk.

Hair Color: Long wavey shiny black hair which falls mostly over her face
Appearance: Wears dark jeans, black chucks, a studded black belt, a black wife beater shirt, bangles on her left arm, rings, small studs in hear ears, a green polka dotted head band
Interesting Fact: She listens to everything that people are saying, even when she looks like she isnt paying attention, she is always listening. She knows how to hack computers and cell phones.
Bio: She was raised by her father most of her life, her mother died when she was three, her dad was a PI and knew how to hack computers and investigate into other peoples files, to put it simply he was a computer genius, he also taught her everything he knew about reading and psycho analyzing people. He got fired from his job and they lost all of their money. He abandoned her and left her to live in an orphanage telling her that he would someday return once he gained enough money to take care of her.She was thirteen. The past three years she has heard from her father in letters and in semi annual phone calls.
