    That last episode is great!

You may, no, SHOULD, watch it again before the movie! It deals with so much! Inara/Mal, River/everyone, Serenity itself..

1 more sleep for us not-yet-seeners!

I'm really glad I haven't seen it, or read anything too much about it :)

I've managed to stay completely spoiler-free for this, and all of a sudden I'm feeling strangely nervous. People keep saying the film doesn't suck, but I am, for some reason, scared. I really can't wait...

The times for the weekend at Southbank. Serenity is on at 2.35 on Saturday. Is this okay for the 'non-premiere/2nd viewing/3rd viewing' group?

Awwww. When we saw the advance screening, there was a little message from Joss before the film started, where he praised and thanked the fans for everything they've done to help and support the movie and the show. It felt really gratifying, and I think it's so great that Joss is so in touch with the fans.

I've managed to stay completely spoiler-free for this, and all of a sudden I'm feeling strangely nervous. People keep saying the film doesn't suck, but I am, for some reason, scared. I really can't wait...

Cross my heart, Cargin, it's ruttin' fantastic. Totally shiny. It'll be even better if you're spoiler-free, because there are some moments that will shock you and take you by total surprise. You won't be able to help getting really really engaged with the movie and the characters. You won't be disappointed, trust me. ;)

This is pretty cool, when I left these forums Neech, Casual and I were the only ones that had seen (and fallen in love with) Firefly.
Now these forums are more Firefly/Serenity than Star Wars!

That all depends on what Star Wars you're talking about.

Well, Christopher Lee pwns that agent dude, whatever you say. And the line "she'll fly true" is gay. Okay, Star Wars does have a lot of corny dialogue, but that's kind of expected.

I don't think you quite understand the "western speak" Nyder.

That line fits with the movie and it seems like you're just looking for stuff to pick on.

"Master Obiwan would be very grumpy"

Now that is a bad line.

I didn't like the 'She'll fly true' line either - atleast not in the movie. It may have worked in the TV series but I cringed when I heard it in Serenity.

And I still love all the Star Wars movies but for me, Attack of the Clones has the most problems (stalker Anakin, atrocious dialogue, Natalie Portman's acting).

I just watched Phantom Menace for the first time in a long time on Sunday night (My girlfriend has never seen any of them  ) and found I really like it. To me, it has that 'classic' Star Wars feel now.
