FF:WA So - seriously - anyone up for paintball?

I've been banned many a times, 19 I think, but never for doing a nudie run.
Don't wanna get or the ladies excited...or not.

Sounds like some kind of Kleenex product! Shouldn't they call their paintball stuff something like, "painmaster" or "weltmaker"??

 

Airsoft is a sport similar to paintball but ALOT more serious and it uses high powered BB-Guns...you can get some seriously INSANE BB-guns.

Can I run aound in a full set of COTS leather armour....... then I wouldn't care what I'm being shot with.

Actually, I know it's unlikely, but who on here has tried (other than id_10t_ERROR if he is still lurking on here) the medieval version of paintball, combat archery?

You basically armour up, and use low poundage bows (around 30 pounds) and specially modified arrows with things like tennis balls attached to the ends so you feel it, but it doesnt hurt too much.

It's hellah fun.

We were kicking around an idea for an amusement attraction the other day, while I was working on my miniature of Helm's Deep.

Imagine an inflatable castle like Helm's deep, nerf swords, neref ladders, nerf bows....

I don't think Peter Jackson needed to. Doing it with real walls, real armour and guys who look like real orcs would have been a lot more fun than nerf I expect.
