mwahahahaha. just thought I'd share. Yes, y'all let a Trekker into your midst. I watched Star Trek IV last night and realized just how much I missed the old movies....

again, STAR TREK ROCKS!

The Enterprise could take out ANY Star Wars ship with no problem at all.

plus, you really think a Calamari cruiser would be able to even make a SCRATCH on any starfleet vessel....and not to mention the klingons or romulans...

turbo lasers are nowhere near the same strength as ST's phasers. Phasers are weapons using PHASED ENERGY. Lasers are highly focused beams of light. Now who in their right mind thinks that with a short burst, a turbolaser could get through a duranium reinforced hull?

 

Also, how long would you expect the empire or the alliance to stand up against a foe as powerful as the Borg anyways?

 

The force would beat them all.

The funny thing is how many of these "phasers" are on a ST ship? Well star destroyers have hundreds.

they have hundreds, but ST ships only need a few phasers because they can fire in full 360 degree 3-d space anytime they wish. a star destroyer for instance can't do that.

True, but multiply turbo lasers always have a shot. Plus you hit s ST ship and half the work stations blow up. Ever heard of a "resistor"?


Also, the people to design ST aliens have little imagination. (more then) Half the creatures are humaniods with either weird ears or foreheads. *rolls eyes*

basically, I stand by my post. I love Star Trek and do think it's better than Star Wars hands down. Basically, I've realized that there are those people who cannot be converted to Trekism....but hey, I did list my religion as Jedi on the last Canadian census.

 

I like ST...I just love SW a whole lot more.

And really, what kinda response did you expect on a SW message board?

I enjoy ST, but I love SW.

Besides, SW definitely has the better fuzzball.
