Este es un concepto que estamos desarrollando.

La idea de este thread es la de proveer a nuestro fan base una fuente de información que les sirva para crear, mejorar o comprar su disfraz favorito, ya sea 501st o Rebel Legion Oriented.

Aunque el FanForce no exique nada en relación a la calidad de un disfraz, las legiones si lo hacen y para esos miembros que quieran dar la milla extra, este thread, con la ayuda de todos, lograría que el costume en cuestion salga con los standares que las legiones exigen para ser aprovados.

Unos detalles importantes y reglas a seguir para el uso del thread.

1. NO SE PUEDEN ESCRIBIR COMENTARIOS NI SUJERENCIAS EN EL THREAD: Este thread es única y exclusivamente para postear información sobre disfracez. Cualquier comentario o sujerencia debe ser dirido via PM a la persona que esta desarrollando el personaje. Cualquier post sera borrado sin consultar.

2. POSTING: Todos pueden aportar con la informacion que consigan, pero tiene que ser información real y accurate en relacion los trajes, no pueden ser conceptos que no estén aprovados por las legiones.

3. PROYECTOS Y TRAJES NO APROVADOS: Existen trajes que no han sido aprovados, pero que si pertenecen a la saga. Si alguno de ustedes quiere desarrollar esta idea, pues el foro lo acepta, pero el fin debe ser el lograr que dicho traje entre en cualquiera de las legiones. Eje, hace poco, uno de los miembros de la 501st logro que le aprovaran el NOVA TROOPER. Entre todos, podemos desarrollar las ideas.

4. CONCEPTO PARA LOS THREADS: Para evitar confusiones, cada header de cada post, debe hablar del traje que se esta trabajando, eje, DARTH REVAN / STAR WARS COSTUME RESOURCES, STORM TROOPER / STAR WARS COSTUME RESOURCES. De ese modo, cuando alquien este buscando, puede ir directamente al traje que le interesa.

5. VENDEDORES: Es sumamente importante el mantener los nombres de los vendedores fuera de este foro, toda informacion de ventas debe ser manejada en privado y via PM. La 501st Legion y la Rebel Legion NO SE BENEFICIAN de estas ventas, el único beneficio que se consigue es la inclusión de más miembros en sus filas.

6. PRECIOS: Esta informacion es permitida, los precios se pueden postear de modo que el interesado tenga una idea de con cuanto dinero tiene que contar para adquirir su traje.

Apoyando la idea de Francisco, empezaré dando las referencias de Stormtroopers.

Primero, el traje de Rubies, NO es aceptado asi como viene, tendria que ser modificado para los estándares de la legión.

Hay varias personas que ofrecen diferentes trajes de Stormtrooper y cada uno tiene sus pro y sus contra. la selección se debe basar desde el tipo de cuerpo que tenga la persona, hasta el material de preferencia que quiere en su traje. Muchas de las referencias de los Stormtroopers se pueden encontrar en el foro oficial del destacamento de 501st http://www.whitearmor.net/home/ ,para ser miembro no tienes que ser miembro del 501st y puedes ver los diferentes tipos de trajes. Para que tengan una idea, algunos de los trajes que existen: el AP o Authentic Props, sacado de moldes usados en las películas, el TE o Trooper Expert, tambien sacado de moldes usadon en las Películas, el TM o Troopermaster, una recreación original de una persona en Inglaterra, es 100% fan made, pero se considera de los mas "accurate" en existencia; el AM o Armor Master, este es el nuevo traje que es el sucesor del FX (el que la gran mayoria de nosotros tenemos), El FX q todavia puede que se consiga, y por ahi hay muuuchos más. Consejo, no compren trajes en Ebay sin antes consultarlo con una persona que sepa del tema de los stormtroopers. Cualquier duda, segun las instrucciones, me envian un PM.

No pondre el CRL aqui, pero pondre los links para que los vean, en primer lugar esta el Stormtrooper ANH Stunt, este se considera el mínimo estándar al cual se puede aspirar,

Le sigue el ANH "Hero" que era el traje usado por Han Solo y Luke Skywalker, este fue diseñado para tomas de "Close up" y por esta razón tiene un poco mas de detalles.

Le sigue el Stormtrooper ESB, este es basicamente idéntico al de ANH Stunt, pero con algunas diferencias como Hand plates de Snowtrooper, el Holster a la derecha, y lo que se le llama el "frown" del casco negro, en vez de gris como en ANH.

Por último de los trajes usados en las películas se encuentra el Stromtrooper ROTJ, este es totalmente diferente a los de las películas anteriores ya que hicieron un molde nuevo para ROTJ. Basicamente cogieron uno HERO de ANH y le añadieron detalles como un borde en las piezas entre otras cosas.

Entrando en la categoria de Expanded Universe, actualmente se aceptan 3 el Heavy Weapons Trooper, el Stormtrooper Commander, y el Incinerator Trooper, estos 3 troopers son sacados de juegos de video.

Empezando con el HWT, este es basicamente un sandtrooper limpio, pero OJO, Sandtroopers llevan otros detalles que seran discutidos mas adelante. En fin es coger literalmente un traje de ANH Stunt, ponerle el "backpack" de los Sandtroopers, un pauldron y preferiblemente una pistola "Heavy"(DLT-19 por ejemplo) es importante que cumplan con las primeras 2 cosas para ser HWT, no por poner un Pauldron ya eres un HWT.

El Stormtrooper Commander, este es un poco "tricky" pq dependiendo de la referencia que uses, puede q sea un ANH Stunt, o un ROTJ trooper.

Los Sandtroopers, son otra categoría aparte de los Stormtroopers, no tengo muuucha información de ellos, pero de las cosas que sé, Primero, deben estar "sucios" eso es lo mas importante. También necesitan tener el "backpack", el pauldron (Anaranjado, Blanco y Negro son los únicos aceptados oficialmente), el ab plate es difetente (plano en vez de tener botones como un Stormtrooper), el Knee plate también es diferente, se pueden usar unos Handplates que se conocen como "cheesegrater", no l

* The armor should have a metallic sheen and variable coloration, ranging from bronze to a copper tone.
* The armor must be made of a rigid material.
* The armor must include a pattern of ridges that replicate the design seen in the reference images.
* The cuirass includes a black section on each side of the chest. These sections each have two loops built into them. The capellet is attached to these loops via silver clasps. The black areas are rigid portions of the armor, not cloth extensions of the cape.

* The vambraces should be made of a rigid material.
* They should enclose the entire forearm, and should extend from the wrist to just below the elbow.
* The vambraces have a ridge design running up the front seam. It can be used to disguise the clamshell opening.

(Armoured) Legion Costume Standards


Helmet Mask: Gloss black. The chin vent is triangular and larger neck than that in the ANH version of the helmet, extending under the armor. Large diamond vent mesh is backed by smaller screen mesh. Both mesh parts should be black. Lenses must be flat not bubbled and dark grey or black in color. The tusks are metallic and have pointed tips. There should be no skin visible on the neck, this should be covered by a neck brace, balaclava or raised turtle neck.

Helmet Dome: Gloss black. Slightly shorter dome than in the ANH version. There is no widow?s peak (sharp point) in the dome brow. This dome is symmetrical and high gloss painted.

Chest Armor: The chest armor is painted in alternating gloss dark grey and black, in reference to the screen captures, with the centermost raised section being in the dark grey and other raised areas in black. The dark grey shoulder bells are attached into the chest armor to look as if it were a single piece. The overall shape of the shoulder bells follows the shape of the armor.

Chestbox: Square, black and worn below the chest armor. There are no visible straps as the chesbox is fixed directly to the bodysuit. On the chest box are three coin slots (on wearer?s right), two silver bars to each side, and a green (upper) and red (lower) square colored panels. The colored panels and coin slots are above four rocker switches which are (wearer?s right to left) one read and three grey. The red and green colored panels and the red rocker switch are lit. There is no Aurabesh text appears below the coin slots.

Belt and Belt Boxes: Black leather belt, ~2" wide, composed of a buckle, two boxes. The buckle is black long, narrow and rectangular. It has overlying silver ?D? with five slots with square edges in a triangular pattern on the wearer?s right and a raised silver circle to the wearer?s left. The black backplate of the buckle is smaller than ANH version. The belt boxes mirror image one another. From the center outwards, each has two green square light panels above a rectangular silver diamond mesh, a small red light with a chrome ring, and six silver knobs in two vertical columns of three. All lights are constantly lit. Boxes should be placed centered vertically on the belt about 2"-3" on each side of the buckle plate to maintain proper aspect to the movie placement.

Bodysuit Top: Black leather or leather look-alike material. Quilted lines spaced at 1" intervals down the torso and arms.(Single piece body suit also acceptable).

Bodysuit Pants: Black, in the same material as the top, form fitting, and with quilt lines 1" apart runs vertically down the legs. A one piece suit is acceptable.

Gloves: Black, leather or faux leather, and mid-forearm in length. The upper surface is quilted in lines which run parallel to the arm and are ~1" apart from the inner arm to the middle of the hand. The remainder of the glove (flared, outer arm portion) is quilted diagonally.

Surcoat: Black wool or fabric with an equivalent appearance and weight. It is open at the side using seams from the waist to the floor. It has three pleats which run one each side from just below the chest armor to the waist and is worn over the codpiece, and under the chest armor and belt.

Cloak: Black, 5/8 to 3/4 circle, floor length in a wool or wool equivalent and lined with satin. It is held in place by a cape hook on to the armor. The cloak collar is made from the same cloak material and should be between 1" ?1 1/2" in width.

Aqui les estaré escribiendo sobre los Clone Troopers vistos en Episodio II y Episodio III. Estos trajes son aceptados por ambas legiones, tanto el 501st como la Rebel. Recientemente la 501st legión está aceptando los animados de la serie Clone Wars nueva (no sé si la Rebel también). Los REpublic Commandos, caen tambien bajo la categoría de Clone Trooper.
El primer detalle para estos trajes es que son bastante complicados, llevan un proceso de cortar, pegar, "bondear", lijar y pintar, usualmente no visto en los Stormtroopers. También es un trabajo de mucho tiempo, por ejemplo, nada más desde que me llegó la armadura con todas las piezas (no estoy contando el tiempo en "research") estuve trabajando en este traje de 7-8 semanas, se pudiera hacer tal vez en menos tiempo, pero tampoco es algo de hacerse en 2 semanas por ejemplo (a diferencia de mi Stormtrooper que lo monté en un día, si, 1 solo día). De ninguna manera pretendo desanimar a las personas que estén interesadas en tener su Clone, pero lo advierto para que lo sepan y no se frustren si el traje no está listo en 3 semanas por ejemplo.
En cuestión de armaduras, he tenido la oprtunidad de inspeccionar solo 4 de las existentes, la OSCS, La Sci-Fire, la de Casters FL y la Clone6. En mi opinión personal, las mejores son la OSCS y la Sci-fire, pero cada quien tiene el derecho de escoger la que le paresca mejor.
Es importante mencionar que la armadura (no los cascos) es la misma en ambas películas, de manera que pudiera tener lo q se cataloga un grunt (clone blanco) y tener 2 cascos y de esa manera puede ser E II o E III cuando quiera.

Comenzaré con los Costume Reference Library de los "grunts"(CRL's), de ahi lo seguiré editando poco a poco para tener más información de los diferentes trajes

UPDATE 05/22/10
TODOS los CRL's de Clones han sido quitados del foro, por problemas internos en el destacamento, tengo una copia del CRL de Cody que pase a formato Word, (algunas cosas son requisitos para todos los clones) pero no existe más nada por este momento. Se espera que puedan resolver esta situación, pero no se sabe cuando, los mantendré al tanto. Por el momento la única manera de saber es comunicandose con alguien que tenga experiencia con Clone Troopers.

> Black or Green Visor -Welding Shield above grade 5. Lenses may be flat or bubble, either is acceptable

> Top of belt should be mounted just below the chest/back plates with little or no gap visible
Boots
> Must be white leather or leather-like with the sole pattern to match as closely as possible to the movie costume.
> Most identifiable features include a high arch pattern on the inside of the sole, four profile "swoops" between the sole and leather.
> Snaps on both side of heel upper to secure the boot armor is suggested.
Kama
> Color should closely match that of armor
> Length starts just under belt down to top of shin armor / Width is larger at the top than the bottom
> 4" split at back/bottom/center
> 2 white straps connect to belt via kama buckle
Ammo Boxes
> 3 white ammo boxes and one grey clip greeblie attached to a grey strap on right side of chest
> 2 smaller white ammo boxes are attached to the right bicep on a white strap.
Backpack
> Consists of a main shell and two side shells over a base mounted to the back armor. Also has a detonator type attachment underneath with 4 pouches below that and assorted greebles to the side of the backpack.
Pauldron



Recommended
These costume elements are in addition to the required list of costume parts and are optional. This list provides costuming options that increase the level of accuracy of the costume and give a costumer ideas to consider for improvement.

Chest and back plate should match together at the sides giving it a united appearance
Limit or eliminate the use of metallic silver weathering


Optional
Elements listed as acceptable here may not be traditionally associated with a costume, but are not so unreasonable as to detract from it. Please keep in mind that the following items may not be allowed at certain canon/high profile appearances.
