Now that Disney has squired Lucasfilm do you reckon that the Star Wars films will finally come to iTunes?

No to Disney putting them in there. 20th Century Fox holds the distribution rights to the films, and I really, really doubt there's any amount of money that could convince them to give up that to the biggest entertainment company on the planet.

Fox recently did finally allow iTunes in the Cloud to have access to at least some of their classics (Aliens: SE is among the notable films missing) so we'll see about Star Wars. The BR DVD set went at roughly equivalent pricing (not counting the three discs of extras, as those technically cost Fox and LFL nothing, here) per film to what individual films usually average out to on iTunes, so we'll see, maybe.
