Two things I noticed this week.

MO Show's final episode on Tuesday @ 10:30, walking round London & there was a big Clones Promo poster(this ep was shot pre/close to AOTC release)

& If anyone has watched/heard of Havoc & Newsboys Sell Out Tour Victory Lap(how couldnt u), Thursday 14th @ 11:30 had ooodles of references. Comparing West Coast of Sth Is with the Dagobah system. Wet & wild, as rugged as it gets.

    Westsiide. Go the Coast.

The West Coast is nothing like Dagobah.
Dagobah has intelligent life forms :p

    > Damn my 56k!

I'm only on a 56K modem too ... and I'm downloading in the background, you just must be a slower typer. ;)

Can't say I can stand Johnny Depp, he's a bit of a weirdo. Has been ever since 21 Jump Street (if not before).

    Groundhog Day ... classic ... ??? ?[face_plain]

    {cue music}
One of these things is not like the other,

Could be. We'll have to wait and see what else happens. :)

Then again, it could just have been an episode to make up for the total lack of Jack the week before. ;)

I caught the second half of today's (Thursday, 21 Nov.) episode of The Professionals repeats, which had Ian 'Palpatine' Mcdiamid as a guest star it. He was playing some guy who had gone a bit nutso after his wife died in hospital and was going around killing doctors. At the end of the episode he was corned and shot by the authorities, and after the usual confession/redemption speech he died.

I've also seen the first two episodes of the new TV2 show Mysterious Ways/b] (2:00pm, weekdays) which sounded like an X-Files clone from the short description in the TV Guide. It's turned out to be a rather slow going (read "boring"), more realistic version, but just about worth watching (especially compared to what's on the other channels at that time) - more like the Touched by an Angel version of the X-Files. Anyway, in the first episode the main character was describing his dog to someone else as part this, part that, "part wookiee". :)

I was listening to Channel Z (94.2fm here in Auckland) the other day at work and the word was:

    [unpronouncable scream]TRRAAMPREGMNGNNN[/scream]

And Nathan asked Jon if it was some Star Wars character and Jon replied; "no".

    [face_plain]

NB: for those of you who don't listen to this radio station "Word in a Bucket" is a game where Jon Bridges screams some word into the bucket and people ring up and try and guess what it is to win prizes.

The word was, as I guessed, Trampoline. :)

In the sideswipe column, on the back of today's Herald (wed) there's one of those spoof AOTC posters, with Bush and Saddam. Even less funny than sideswipe usually is, and boy, is that saying something.

There's one of those silly gardening / home programmes on TV One early every weekday (just after the Brakfast show) and today they had a variety of Magnolia that was called Star Wars - although quite what a bright pink flower has to do with our saga is beyond me, even if it is vaguely star-shapped. ?[face_plain]

Last night I was watching part of the repeated NetForce mini-series set in the near future and the young daughter of Scott Bakula's character was having her birthday party and she said something like: "Grandma and Grandpa got me the Luke Skywalker doll ... you know, the one from Star Wars VII". :)

There was a weird reference on One news tonight, during a story about golf:

"If we've learnt anything from the Star Wars movies, it's that the pupil will outshine the master."

Kind of an obscure thing to say in the middle of a news story, lol.
