Word has just come from the San Francisco Fan Force that Unity is official!

Time: 8pm-10pm April 30th
Location: San Francisco, Metreon, 4th Floor Terrace

There will be more information as I get it from Ming. Keep your eyes on this thread and start making plans now!

Edit (see below): Not sure yet, I'll post as soon as I know. However, even if we are in costume, we may have a weapons check at the door since Imps and Rebels will be mingling.

 

Do we come with s foils locked and Jedi gear on??? Or is it casual?

I am currently working on my sleeping accomodations for Friday night. If you have made arrangements and are planning on leaving the Sacramento area in the late afternoon and staying through Saturday, PM me. I can give rides to 3 people.

 

my plans fell through, for a staying over night.

But I'm trying to decide if I want to fork the cash for a room somewhere.

out of curiousity what time Sat would you be returning?

 

I'll stay until they kick us out and roll up the streets , but if people need to get back early I could see coming back after the convention closes.

And Tionne - I got my two copies of the the Insider. I am thinking of calling and getting two more copies.

 

I think a two day trip is probably unrealistic for me, but if that is all there is, in terms of rides, I guess count me in.

 

There is no way I can stay over night.
But I'll watch this thread for more info and directions.

 

More news posted, check it out at your earliest convience. We'll let you know on who can accomadate all of you guys when your staying over in SF. By next weekend we'll have that news for you. No worries though you shall have a nice little space to stay dry in.

 

Shasa, would you be willing to drive people who only wanted to go for one day? Maybe we can arrange another group of day-trippers as well as my weekend warriors.

Just reading over the plans on the SF boards, this will be a good time. I get to bring my Chaos to a whole new Fanforce.

 

There is a friend from my LA clan in town right now. She's in Sausalito. I'm gonna see if I can get her to join us.

I think we should figure out exactly who is going and how they are getting there so we can arrange transportation. If you want to go and do not have a ride, post here and we will figure something out. Don't forget to let us know which day(s) you want to be there and how long you might want to stay.

I will leave Davis no later than 5 pm to get to the Metreon as early as possible to help out with decoration/set-up. I can take anyone who wants to go that early, but if you are not planning to stay until Saturday night you will need to find a ride back.

I talked to my friend, Autumn today. He's serving as a sailor on the Hawaiian Chieftain docked in Sausalito. She can join us.

Since my car is healthy now, and I need to be able to get her in and out of Sausalito, I think I'll be driving myself down.

 

Cool Tionne, does that count for me as well ? LOL

 

I know a lot of you are going to the unity meeting, but how many are staying for Wonder Con? I can't make it to the unity thing but I will be at the con on saturday, especially since theres going to be an Ep III preview thingy...should be sweet!

If you are definitely going please post your full name and whether or not you can pick up tickets at the SFFF booth at the Moscone Center on Friday ASAP. If not, I will arrange something with Ming for you to pick them up at the event.

This is very important as you NEED to be on the guest list and have a ticket in order to get into Unity.
